DESCRIPTION
Vandemarian Techwrights was formed under the supervision of Aurelian Sigismund of Vandemar. Under the watchful and innovative leadership of the Hegemon himself, the various subsidiaries are managed by respective leaders.

The Techwrights were formed by a variety of companies in the Unknown Regions with the purpose to provide Vandemar with a source of equipment, technology and ships. There is a public series of products which are sold, daily needs in a variety of fields and there is a private series of products which is exclusively for the needs and supplying of the Hegemony's institutions.

RATIONALE
Once Aurelian Sigismund settled off into the Unknown Regions to find bits and pieces of the ancient Iokath technology, he developed a plan to provide himself a powerbase which could provide him with everything he would need, which at first resulted in the formation of the Rim-Guard Order, drawing resources and financing from the now de-funct Eternal Empire of Kalidan.

This included the acquisition and takeovers of local companies and forging them to a bigger corporation. Every time they stumbled onto a new company which could prove useful, they offered a friendly takeover or threatened with a forceful replacement of all its leadership. Over the years they acquired a variety of companies and industries, melting them ever together and slowly forming a good sized corporation with a variety of departments and possibilities.

Now situated on the new home of Vandemar Majoris, the Vandemarian Techwrights work and develop both civil and military tech, often envisioned by the Hegemon himself who involves himself greatly in the advancement and execution of new technologies.
