Machine Hearts

Ra was on the run, she needed to disappear. Maybe even fake her death again. This time, she did not go to the Metal Lords for help. It was her own fault, like the time before she had gotten into this trouble. Instead of running from just one person, she was running from a government. She needed to hide from the Sith Empire.

Denon was still home to the Metal Lords and she could hide here for now. Looking into different names and abilities, she reached out to a young woman she felt would be perfect to work with. There had been a time in her life when she was struggling and there was the chance this girl was too.

Now she waited on the space station of the Metal Lords for her to show up.

Rhyssa Sprax

Coding that hits harder than a Mk. IV Cyber Comman
This station was the first time Rhyssa had settled down since leaving Courscant, Denon had just as much work but less people that had a grudge against her, so that was nice, also since no one knew her there wasn't anyone coming to see her unless it was on business. It wasn't long though and the jobs were already coming in, giving Rhyssa enough income to start being picky about what she accepted, as she scrolled though her holonet messages, she noticed a local job, so local it was on the same station, everything was IP scrubbed going in or out to help prevent tracing, so it had to be consistence, right? Though the reasoning was interesting enough for Rhyssa to take the job, the person was looking to disappear and the little bit of client background showed that that had quite the interesting tale to how they got here, making that null was impossible, but it could be worked around and it would be a fun challenge.

Rhyssa fired back a quick message.

Oi Chummer meet me at the Hard Vacuum Cafe on deck 13 I'll look like kinda a member of station maintenance and have an old ID9 seeker droid with me and be drinking hot chocolate, oh and I'm really short.

Rhyssa had been working on her infiltrator armour anyway so all she had to do was shove her SE-14Rs into a tool bag and she was armed while looking like a maintenance worker who just got off of shift or went on break, though at her height of 5'2" she kinda also looked like a kid who was just playing at it, which suited her because she would just be ignored further as she sat around.

She arrived without incident and settled down in a booth with a large mug of hot chocolate and a pastry and started messing around on her datapad while her ID9 was watching for someone approaching her she that she knew to run, shoot, or start doing business.

On the station, it was easy for Ra to move around freely. This was one place she should be safe. Though her connections to the Metal Lords might be public knowledge, not many were brave enough to confront them. Her friends had made sure this station was open to people, but not those hostile to their kind. They had accepted her and now included her among their numbers even if she was organic.

Picking up the message left by Rhyssa, she now walked into the cafe at the designated time. Her naturally gold eyes looked over the patrons and found the girl easily enough. Walking over to her, she took a seat in the booth and introduced herself.

"I am Ra'a'mah Numare, but please just call me Ra. Easier on the tongue and to remember. Thank you for coming. Here is what I need."

Not wanting to waste any time, she handed the girl a datapad that explained she didn't want a name change as she had before, but a change of her past. She no longer would be the Ra from Vjun that held a grudge against the Sith Empire but from a totally different location. It might not be enough in the end, but it was a start and that was what she wanted.

"Is this something you think you can accomplish?"
