Generally she wears business style clothes when working, but has no particular defining style. She tends to pull her hair back and cut it rather shorter than most Eldorai. She has a couple of small tattoos on her upper arm with some religious symbols.
Personality: Maerys is a very efficient and effective secretary. Though seeming officious and cold, she is capable of being jovial and expressive when not working, or with friends. She is a rather organised person who likes everything neat, tidy and properly filed. She is something of a ‘liberal’ for Eldorai society, being known to hold absurd views such as equality for genders and accommodation with outsiders. Naturally this made her applying for a job at Firemane much easier.
Maerys is a little bit resentful and envious of those higher up the tree politically and socially compared to her. Without the birthright of noble ancestry or the fortune of the upcoming business elite she was never able to get the best education or material possessions.
Weapon of Choice: Is trained in the use of basic hand-weapons and side-arms. Combat is not her speciality, especially considering her boss can throw asteroids with her mind.
Wealth: Limited.
Combat Function: Maerys’ primary tactic is to hole up in cover, fire her blaster/bolter/staser and wait for backup. She is not a soldier and avoids combat where possible.
Skills: Skilled at organisation and filing. Exceptional memory. Good with basic consumer technology. Minor Force training in empathy and basic telekinesis. Good knowledge of Eldorai history, science and language.

Other Notes: Maerys was born to city dwelling middle-class parents from Santaissa. Her mother’s profession was as a lawyer, and as contact with the outsiders became more common she started to represent humans and others and advise them on Eldorai law. Her father was a government official who likewise interacted more and more with outsiders as time went on.
Maerys received a decent education where she scored highly, but her parents did not have the money to send her to Lynstay Academy or other prestigious higher education opportunities. She was discovered to have minor Sciiac (Force) aptitude, but not enough to be deserving of a place in the Angelii. Thus, she attended a lesser college which she graduated with high marks.
Shortly after graduating Kaeshana was embroiled in civil wars which led to the eventual ascension of the current Queen. Maerys received a job in the ‘Guest Quarter’ administration where she attracted the attention of Tegaea Alcori. Hired by Firemane as an Eldorai liaison, she was promoted and has just now been made PA to Vice-President Siobhan Kerrigan.
