SPECIAL FEATURES

[*]Combat Gloves
[*]Utility Belt

[*]Positive Grip Boots
[*]Body Glove

Strengths:
  • A Force User Is You. Imparts low level Force Sensitivity when worn by a Non-Force User.
  • I Have The Power. When worn by a Force Sensitive, their Force potential is augmented by the Blue Stone.
  • Spider Silk Armor. The body glove both resists and deflects blaster bolts and vibroblades.
Weaknesses:
  • Training Required to maximize you. The sudden influx of sensation resulting from exposure to Force Sensitivity may cause side-effects, such as dizziness or trouble sleeping due to visions of [member="Kyrel Ren"] on Mustafar.
  • Addictive. Just as Force Sensitivity can be disorienting for a Non-Force Sensitive to first experience, the loss of that input when taking the armor off can seem debilitating for some users of stonepower.
  • Force Connection Required. Force augmentation and Stonepower attributes only work in places where a connection to the Force is possible. Otherwise this is just standard Stormtrooper armor with a different body glove.
  • Limited protection against sonic or elemental-based attacks.
  • Marginal lightsaber protection.
DESCRIPTION
Good henchmen are hard to find, and they rarely stand up to the hordes of Jedi Crusaders that an aspirational Sith or Imperial are likely to encounter on the path to glory. It's obviously best when there are enough Force Sensitives to go around, but there never are. But what if you could make more? This was the premise behind Magitek's approach to designing a stormtrooper armor that would elevate a good henchman into a bombad henchman. One worthy of the task of bringing peace and order to the wider galaxy.

To be clear, this is pretty vanilla stormtrooper armor. Of course, the architect behind this scheme is a kitten, so some simplicity is to be expected. Augmenting the usual plastoid armor is the coating of micronized Blue Stone, infusing the plastoid with Stonepower. This places a Non-Force User on par with a padawan or acolyte, with training and practice at least. That's better than nothing. Sure, they won't be able to stop the Jedi Inquisition, but they'll probably last a lot longer in the struggle against the Alliance in Exile and the Silver Jedi Order with access to Force Sense and Telekinesis than they would without those traits.

The one change that the Cathar made was with regard to the body glove. By exchanging the standard suit for one composed of a spider silk/duranex blend, the kitten addressed the most common complaint with regard to stormtrooper armor. That being, the standard stock soldier armor didn't hold up to blaster fire.

To harvest the Blue Stone, it was necessary to obtain a specimen from the Vagadarr System. Capturing one of the so-called Giants of Living Stone, the Cathar had the creature taken apart and the stone ground down in order to develop the materials necessary for the Blue Stone lacquer that permeates the plastoid pieces. Was that murder? Perhaps, but some deaths are to be expected on the path to a Sith education. Overall, the kitten is hoping to get a good grade when he submits this to his instructors at the Sith Academy.

[member="Micah"],

Hey there. I really like this addition to the Factory using a dagger in this way. However, I recommend adding a weakness that states people who are not used to having the force, could potentially have backlash due to the sudden flux of power/become overly sensitive due to the artifact. While I know that this can be trained, or if someone holds onto it long enough they can get used to having the force potential, it shows that the person who is untrained might have some problems with it at first.
