The Mahina Shipyards are named after the moon that it's situated upon, kept in orbit from the Nation of Mnemosyne and far enough to keep civilians from becoming a potential target of strategic military action should the world be invaded by hostile forces.
The facility encompasses a vast area of the moon's surface, embedded within the rock and protected by heavy anti-air ordinance, accessibility to the Mahina Shipyards are permitted only by personnel under the Mnemosyne Naval Forces.
Any and all visitors are to be given clearance through the maritime defensive structure, requiring heavy vetting before taking transport from the world's surface to the facility itself. Any and all unexpected traffic being met with an armed escort outside of Mahina airspace via fighter squadron.

From Mnemosyne, during a dark night one might make out the four rings of Mahina's Shipyards; The circumference of which spans miles, two exceedingly large and deeply entrenched within the surface of the Moon for the construction of heavy military starships, while the remaining two rings differ marginally, one smaller than the other yet both for the manufacturing of the Mnemos Fleet and assets to join with and reinforce the Naval Force of the Silver Jedi Concord.
This great facility is the largest attraction to the moon Mahina orbiting Mnemosyne, producing high-quality military starships, albeit, at an arguably slower pace than some other known Shipyards due to Mnemosyne's smaller military economy, resources are often pulled in from neighbouring worlds within Silver Space, repaid in the creation and continued maintenance of Silver Naval War Vessels coming and going throughout the Sector.

- Operations Centre & Traffic Control Tower:
- The Operations Centre is where the Chief Staff maintain control of the entire Shipyards, ensuring all construction operations are running smoothly, personnel are accounted for and maintaining professional standards in their construction of space-faring vessels. The Traffic Control Tower is houses senior staff responsible for organizing and overseeing the coming and going of traffic, including newly-constructed Starships for their departure and outbound voyage to wherever they are to be stationed.
- Personnel Housing & Residential Sector:
- The Residential Sector is situated on the outskirts of the Shipyards itself, consisting of a supersized and independent facility known as a megaplex. Here the employees of the Mahina Shipyards are issued apartments for the duration of their stay on Mahina, taking shifts of up to six months at a time and living on-site before returning to Mnemosyne for the minimum of respite.
- Manufacturing Ring MS1CC: (Capital Class - Secondary Development).
- The largest of Manufacturing Rings, this section of the Shipyard Facility is responsible for the construction and maintenance of Capital Class Vessels such as Battlecruisers & Heavy Carriers. Limited in size and Mnemosyne's military scope, the facility is not capable of constructing Dreadnaughts or Super Star Destroyers, and can only offer repairs and maintenance in a minor capacity outside of the Shipyard itself.
- Manufacturing Ring MS1HC: (Heavy Class - Primary Development).
- Despite not being the largest, the Heavy Class Manufacturing Ring is the primary construction hub of the Mahina Shipyards, specializing in the manufacturing of Star Destroyers, the primary focus and class of Naval Vessels coming out of Mnemosyne's production line.
- Manufacturing Ring MS1MC: (Moderate Class - Secondary Development).
- The MS1MC Construction Ring is responsible for the development of Moderate Class Vessels such as Frigates, Freighters & Corvettes. Like the MS1CC, Vessels coming out of the MS1MC are less frequent in production output compared to the MS1HC and the MS1LC Construction Rings.
- Manufacturing Ring MS1LC: (Light Class - Primary Development).
- The MS1LC Production Ring has the highest production output of all four manufacturing rings and is responsible for Light Class Construction of Starfighters, Bombers, Dropships and Military Transports.

Mahina is Mnemosyne's largest of two Moon's and was chosen for the purpose of basing all Naval Operations upon, ranging from Military Installations to the Mahina Shipyards as documented here.
Under the former Monarchs Veiere and Kay Arenais, the Government of Mnemosyne was encouraged to dedicate a sizeable amount of funds into the World's defensive capabilities, and while Mnemosyne's Military Economy is not as large as some of the other Worlds situated within Silver Space, the result of their advice, as well as House Arenais' significant donations, led to the completion of the Mahina Shipyards, purposed for prioritizing the construction of Star Destroyers and Fighter Squadrons, while also capable of manufacturing other secondary classes at a lesser efficient production speed.
During the time of the facilities establishment, Veiere Arenais served under the Order of the Silver Jedi, prior to the Silver Concord's existence, and used his connections and influential relationships with high ranking members of the Order to organize a mutually advantageous business arrangement in which the Mahina Shipyards would gain materials from neighbouring worlds in exchange for the construction and maintenance of vessels for the Silver Navy.
The Mahina Shipyards continues to operate under the accord made with the Silver Jedi, however, a new contract was required when the Silver Concord was founded, solidifying continued relations and business enterprise between Mnemosyne and the Concord's Capital, the former Monarch's homeworld of Commenor.
