A question has risen and it needs everyone's participation to find the rightful answer for it.

Will we stay minor forever or become major in the future?

As a secret council, the answer would be simple. We would stay minor forever. But as our IC goals form, it becomes more likely that we will become major some day.

The goals I am talking about are as they follow:
  • Start rebellions on planets ruled by major factions.
  • Have Skirmishes with other Force-using factions' members.
  • Conquer planets owned by other Force-using factions.

The first two goals don't need becoming major, like you might already have understood, but the third one... As our ultimate goals are to destroy other Force-using factions and to eliminate every Force belief which is not Sorcery (Sith Magic, whichever you prefer), the third goal listed in this post will play a major role in our story.

And just to clear things up, I have discussed faction-related questions with staff members and it appears, that when we would ever become major, you could be a member of other major factions, too, but you can't represent all of them (I would prefer representing your character in Monthly Check-Ins as a member of the most important faction you are a member of). This Check-In thing could be discussed again in the future, when we might have more members.

So... what do you think? Our IC goals and plans can change when the majority decides so.

Note: Our goals do not have anything to do with destroying/eliminating the Sith Empire. We will stay in a friendly relationship until something which threatens the other faction is done.

For the moment, I say you stick with Minor. Not only does it allow you to get a clear grasp on what you want to do, it allows you to easily reform and make changes ICly and OOCly if you end up not wanting to follow those original goals. I say give being Minor a couple weeks and then we decide from there after we've established ourselves. Making too big decisions like these early on will spell (pun intended) doom for when we get older.

Whether you guys stay Minor or Major, expect backing from the Empire. :) I say give sticking Minor a month and some change, get involved in some skirmishes and underground fighting, and then we make the move for major.

As much as I would love to be part of the Minor faction brigade. *mentions that is part of 3 other minor factions* I would like to see this become major, BUT much later on. When we have a larger group of active people rather than the live 5-7 that we have now. My thing would be to first get our name out there, in secret, to other people who may be learning Sith Magic or sorcery. And it just can't be "Oh you want to learn magic, Come follow me my friend" It needs to be proven that the would have potential with us. Truthfully I would rather have a member base of active, small and strong (by strong I mean easy work as a team and can over come alot of tasks when it seems helpless) rather than a large on of a 150+members with only 8 active people.

Minor, because I as well as most of us present and future have a major faction to represent already, and it would take precedence over this during a check.

By the way my laptop's hard drive broke when I left it on overnight (odd). So skip me, I'll just post when next I have the opportunity. Consider me a tagalong in the mean time.

Oh, and tell dranok that's not fear he smells LOL ;3 He's far too far and not in line of sight with me for that. Also Alachei is too void and dumbass for fear, true story. XD

Okay, thank you for the feedback! It was too early, actually... :D But you have given me so much to think about. :) @[member="Dranok Lussk"], I believe in case you are willing to start teaching us, you can do it now in the Training Grounds board. This way, we'll save time (since the [Faction] thread needs so much waiting).
