Make me feel blue

Tritus stood in a hanger, having just landed in Mos Eisley. He had been to Tatooine a few times, training militia fighters in basic ship combat through the use of simulations. However this time, he was here for no reason at all. His ship had received a coded message, instructing him to go to that exact hanger and wait. What or who he was waiting for was unknown, but he, like many before him, had a bad feeling about this. Looking up at his clawcraft, he felt an inkling of sadness creep over him. It was the last piece of his life from when he work for the Chiss Ascendancy, and he had become somewhat attached to it, even if it wasn't the ship he wanted to be flying. But taking a Chiss warship wasn't exactly in the question at the time, so he'd made do with what he'd gotten. So he waited, patiently.

Tatooine still remained without an pointed Vicory from the CIS, not that she could blame her, even with the last of the Hutt's 'removed' of no proper government had been established on the still newly annexed planet. Ture the Princess of Tythe had committed some of her troops to keeping order among the planet such could only account for certain areas, a few hundred people were not really able to keep full control on a planet. As such certain tasks fell to mercs like her, Vettu being focused on getting anti-slicing knowledge out to the common folk around the space port, plenty of dirt bags seeking to steal your ship.

Her day in the port had revealed an odd ship, one that's presence seemed out of place, a little investigation and hacking on her own terms revealing some interesting things about said ship. Her little message seeming to reach it's owner, another Chiss, the man half haphazardly coming into docking bay, "seems for CEDF training is lacking, most would try and keep a better eye out" she replied, pushing off the wall, showing herself to the renegade Chiss.

Another Chiss. A rare sight outside of the Ascendancy, but the way she spoke meant she was likely the one who'd sent the transmission. He had never thought that the Ascendancy would ever send anyone after him, he was after all not the highest priority target. Nevertheless, he was here now, and he was curious as to what exactly the woman wanted.

"I have been away from the Ascendancy for years, my training is likely outdated. Who are you, why did you call me here?" He spoke firmly, and stood as a captain would during a briefing. It would be an interesting day indeed.

Vettu walked forwards with a sultry fashion, sporting the usual back, cleavage revealing dress and long elbow length gloves, "lacking, well I can understand that, everyone gets a little rusty here and there". "As for me, well a spy does not tell her name to everyone she meets, though I know a bit about you sexy Vexy" The whole prime and polished way the man stood being quite the nice sigh among the rabble that was Tatooine folk. "Though if you wan I can tell you why I am here". "Lets just say it is my job to basically see what is happening in the galaxy and report back, I just happened to stumble across you, but while I am here, I can get something else besides a regular pay check"

Tritus kept his eyes locked on the Chiss woman, who had adopted a seductive pose and tone. And oddly enough, she'd also told him that she was a spy, most likely for the Ascendancy. That was concerning, but he'd have to keep his cool, even if his male instincts fought against his control.

"You will find very little worth reporting back here, this planet is a dead world for those who wish to disappear. You calling me here means that whatever that extra thing is, must have something to do with me." He was very aware of some of the people in the hanger, who had started to watch the two blue humanoids, Chiss were still a rare sight in the galaxy after all.

Well it seemed that a few years away from Chiss space did not hamper the mans stoic nature, seemed her flirting attempt were not working either, always a bother with her own people. Still it would not really stop her in this.... freelancer like mission, anything to help climb ranks or a little more pay out was always a welcome treat.

"You may be right but you are more then nothing, I do not know the fully story but losing that many ships, then blaming it on your higher ups, then proceeding to steal a ship and hightail it away from the planet". "I mean, that sounds like something I would do no problem, but you Vex, my my that is a strange thing to do, unless you did something to run a away from".

Herself letting the hypothetical question hanging in the air before continuing, "not that I care, but I can say one thing, that ship you ave will be a nice return present for me, I do believe you having it here is not regulation".

He hadn't thought about his leaving of the Ascendancy in a long time, sometimes the reason behind it escaped his mind too. He would be lying if he said he didn't wish to return home, to see his family. Maybe this was his chance, even if it were at the end of a freelancer's blaster. He could take them both back, face the Chiss, and serve the time. He could finally be with his own kind again, but at what cost?

"That ship is mine, even before I left. You want to take it back to the Ascendancy, you'll have to take me too." He wouldn't fight her, mainly because it wasn't his speciality, but flying certainly was.

"Last time I checked deserting and taking equipment with you was not something people looked at with a, 'hey that guy is cool' though I am more or less just doing this for fun". Out here a lot of stuff was just the same, day in day out, getting to tease another Chiss was not a common occurrence that she had the pleasure of doing. "Besides, what is so special about this ship? because if I was in your shoes I'd have ditched this thing long ago, avoid a paper trail you know, the craft was the reason why I was able to track you down after all". Even if it had bee an accidental 'I just so happened to stumble across it' type of event.

"This ship reminds me of home, of my family and what I could've been. Out here, it is a symbol, it reminds others of what is beyond known space." Tritus was telling a half truth here, but it was better than spilling all his reasons to a stranger. However this woman was not like most Chiss, she seemed more at home out in the wider galaxy than most of their kind, himself included. Whatever had brought her away from the Ascendancy, it may have been just another reason for her to leave without causing a scene the same way he had.

"Why do you still answer to the Ascendancy? You seem more like a common mercenary than a loyal servant of the houses."

[member="Vettu'honi'oazi"]

"Family, yet you still left, would it not make more sense to stay behind? seems like you value yourself more then the house you belong too, unless their is a plan to return one day". Would not be the first, their were quite a few Chiss that left home space for some reason, to then come back changed and better, or unable to handle the greater galaxy and limped back to their respective houses. Or maybe Vex just thought the system was corrupt, put his skills to use elsewhere for a little profit, their kind and said battle tactics were always a welcome asset to any armed forces.

"Oh me? it is how my father raised me, among the stars away from home, such makes me quite a valuable person for the ascendancy due to how well I can fit in with regulars". "But how do you know all this happy go lucky talk is not just an act, and deep down I am a strict by the books cold blooded type"?

[member="Tirtus Vex"]

"Because if you were a cold blooded killer, you'd have taken me down by now. We both know that a rogue Chiss is a danger, and if your mission had been to track me down, there would be no mercy. I think taking me back home is your way of being accepted again. Perhaps you and your father disgraced the Ascendancy, or maybe you're like me, running from the past." She had hit his nerves, and it was showing, his tone had gone from calm to annoyed, and his stance had become broader. He was loyal to his family, and it hadn't been easy leaving them behind.

For a short moment Vettu dropped her all sugar coated act, looking at [member="Tirtus Vex"] with a confused expression, "umm I never said that I was a cold blooded killer, well truth be told I have killed quite a few people but I mean cold as is not emotional". Maybe he had been on world for a little to long all the heat having cooked the mans brain. "Also it's cute you think that of me, it at least shows that my work has stayed under wrapped". After all it had been the ascendancy that contacted her to come back to talk business, being raised during the era of the iron empire meant she'd spend more time away from home then apart of it.

Tritus took a few steps back towards his ship, not showing his back or taking his eyes off the chiss woman. He was starting to get the feeling that she was going to take him with her no matter what, but he could at least feel comfortable before she made any move towards him.

"Do you know anything else about me from your work? You seem like the kind of person who likes to know her targets before she kidnaps them and hauls them away." He placed a hand on one of the lasers cannons of his ship, leaning into it slightly.

[member="Vettu'honi'oazi"]

"Hah had, don't flatter yourself Vex, I've just skimmed your file, I've not be assigned to take you in or anything, my job on Tatooine I security networking and anti-hacking software". "Girls gotta make a living with something else besides spy work", that and the odd pirate business but he didn't need to know about that, though a Chiss pirate.

Walking over she slide her hand along the underbelly of the craft, even after a few years in wild space it was still in good shape, at least Vex had not dropped his more professional like care of personal objects. "Well to be honest I just need the ship, you technically speaking you are a deserter to some extent, though that would not get me a rewards, sooo not my concern".
