Making a Statement(Alliera/Ashin/Spencer)

Ori'Alor Tal'Verda

Leader of the True Mando'Ade
Mand'Alor walked into the throne room of the mighty Sith Empire, all involved who could feel even the basest emotions through could feel that the woman was...PISSED, and she wasn't even trying to hide it. "Tell me, Is Daxton Bane one of yours?" Alliera asked, outwardly calm "I am not 'The Bear', I have an infinitely lower tolerance for abuses to my people." Alliera crossed her arms over her chest, sighing to herself, and shaking her head. she was wearing her armor and armed to the teeth, not taking any chances. This was the first time she wore the Sith Sword Velok gave her publicly, as it sat in it's own little shieth.

"And I've heard stories of mandalorians being kidnapped by Sith and turned into Sith Warriors." Alliera said, pacing in the throne room "Forgive me for being aggressive and Rude, but Ever sense I took up this position I've been hearing more and more about the shit the sith have been pulling on my people."

The throne room was huge, all black marble, with pillars and an obsidian throne. Ashin rose in one convulsive movement, and stalked forward to meet her old enemy.

"You always were impulsive, Alliera. Angry, even. I can tell you've embraced that side of yourself -- that's a Sith sword on your belt, isn't it? -- but you lack control. Wisdom. You come here into my throne room, on my throne world, and throw your weight around."

She walked right up to Alliera, right into her personal space, almost nose to nose.

"Yes. Under the previous administration, Daxton Bane kidnapped and experimented on Mandalorians. That happened, and it's done. I even gave back one of his playthings before he and his prisoners dropped off the map. So don't come in here and get threatening, or you won't walk out alive. I worked to hard on this ceasefire with your predecessor to see you endanger it now with your grandstanding immaturity. My agreement with the Bear let the Sith Empire regroup, restructure, and make all sorts of important acquisitions of territory. We're bigger and stronger now, with more experienced Sith, than we ever were during the last war. And your Mandalorians are weaker.

"If you break this agreement, if you even jeopardize it -- and don't think I'm blind to Generis and Borosk, either -- we will crush the life from you."

Spencer remained close to the throne; she listened as her Master spoke to the woman who came in with a vendetta it seemed. The girl would remain vigilant in case the Mandalore decided to do something foolish. Moving away from behind the throne she held her breath and followed Ashin, she remained somewhat at a distance knowing her place in this realm. Though, she wouldn’t allow anyone to speak to the Empress in a way that would come off as rude or aggressive.

She knew Ashin could handle herself, but she decided to speak giving a warning to the woman who walked in.

“It would be wise Mandalore; to rethink your strategy…”

"I agree, In fact I have several projects planned that should help my people" Allliera said, answering both people with a pleasant tone in her voice "Alone the Mandalorians are weaker than the sith empire, hell maybe even the republic is, but here is somethin' to think about: We have an Alliance with the Echani, who have an alliance with the Republic, who have an alliance with Omega Pyre." Alliera stayed in Ashin's face, calmed down by now, was starting to enjoy this. "To be honest, that war is probably going to happen anyway." Alliera said, enjoying going to the brink "the difference being is if the blob of armored aggression between you and the goody-goodies is contributing to the Dog Pile, or playing in our own little sandbox, the choice is yours."
Alliera wasn't going to back down, she didn't want to show weakness.

Ashin snorted.

"So you're allied with the Echani. That gives you a link to the Republic, sure, and they helped you out on the last war. And Omega Pyre? That's not a name to throw around lightly. In fact, I doubt they would like you invoking them as any kind of a sure thing.

"If you think the war's a sure thing, start it. We're ready. But the aggression won't be coming from us. We're meeting the Republic for battle at Roche -- you know this, or you'd have started expanding south by now. I know you're tempted to jump in. Don't. Because if you do, we'll still win, and we'll take Roche, and we'll use it to take Mandalore in a single jump. You may have your friends, but I hold a few cards of my own."

So this was politics. Spencer listened to the back and forth between leaders; she knew the Echani. Her birth father was their leader. Her hands balled into fists as she remembered the horrible meeting with the witches. Her mother, the leader of the light clan lead the meeting. This Mandalore, blinded by the words of Kamon would soon know the truth. They depended on the chain alliance, but that would just put them in a horrible position against the Sith.

A grin crackled along her face as she decided to ruin her father even more.

“Alliance with the Echani? Who is supposedly aligned with the Republic? Did Kamon tell you how he just wanted to align with the three factions in the middle of the territories? The man wishes to put those alliances above the Republic. Why would you align yourself with a man that would throw away alliances for another one? Who is to say he wouldn’t toss your friendship aside for another alliance?”

"How do you know?" Alliera asked, her voice holding faux-curiosity "Anything can happen at Roche, the republic could take it, it could spontaniosly blow up...hell a guy in a grey robe may show up spontaniosly and scream: 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS!'...the future is fluid" Alliera finally backed down, getting out of Ashin's personal space, and circling around her. "As fun as that was, it wasn;t my intention to play brinksmanship." Alliera said, her tone calm and even "You have my apologies for inciting it, as I said, I've been working through the aftermath of my predessor leaving, and Daxton's aftermath pissed me off."

"You bring up a good point." Alliera said, nodding to Spencer "but he is only an ambassador, my dealings were with Janira, In fact she opened a channel to the republic, so in case your asshat of a dad breaks the Echani/Republic Alliance I can get something working with the republic."

“It’s funny how one man can piss off a people? The same could be said for my father. The man could easily break ties with the Republic. From my understanding, when he was with the Republic he was on the Jedi Council. It seems they don’t enjoy when a Jedi leaves them.”

Spencer’s eyes never leaving the Mandalore as the woman circled Ashin. It seemed she had drawn the woman’s attention. She remembered the bounty put on her head from the Republic and then decided to think of this conversation and not of the past.

“As for your dealings with the Republic, how sure are you that they will agree with what you propose. They could put you in dealings with the Echani. The Republic knows their strength what do they gain from an alliance with you. You gain everything for an alliance with them and you know that or you wouldn’t be trying so hard to forge it or find a way to forge it.”

“You don’t realize the lack of the upper hand here, Mandalore”

"Let me tell you a story, Alliera. Your husband's old teacher, Velok, is an old...associate of mine. He used to work for the Echani. Well, about a month before you got the job, the Echani sent him to Omega Pyre to ask for their help in invading the planet Mandalore. They turned him down -- not because Omega Pyre likes the Mandalorians, but because they didn't want to get involved all the way over here. Yes. Your allies wanted to invade you only months ago. Did they, by chance, tell you that?"
