Making a Warrior

“Stand up, you sackless piece of gundark shıt!”

IC-104 lay face down on the ground. One of his eyes was swollen shut and his nose was probably broken. Black and purple bruises lined his upper torso. However the commando wasn’t out for the count yet. The Mandalorian hand to hand trainer, Hiro Munin, marched over to where IC-104 lay and prepared to stomp the clone to death. If you weren't the best, you weren't fit to serve the Empire. A summary of a clones training. But, IC-104 was the best. He would not die on the floor like so many before him. He would be the greatest warrior the Empire had to offer. So, as the boot came cascading through the air, aimed to crush his skull, he rolled out of the way and sprang to his feet. Hiro gave the clone a wicked smile.

“You got gumption kid! To bad it won’t save YOU!” He shouted as he charged IC-104.

He tackled the clone to the floor and both men entered a furious grapple. The clone wrapped his legs around Hiro’s chest and squeezed vehemently. IC-104 raised his arms to protect his face as Hiro began wailing on him. He had to change the dynamics of the situation. Swinging his hips left with all his might 104 brought Hiro into an awkward side mount. He quickly scrambled for leverage pinning Hiro to the ground with both hands as he pressed his left knee to the Mandalorians neck and extended his other leg so that he could maintain his hold on the man. Hiro struggled wildly to get out from IC-104’s pin, wailing on the clones chest furiously.

104 caught Hiro’s right and held it tightly with both hands. The clone threw one leg over the Mandalorians head and the other over his chest, so that Hiro’s arm was extended between them. The Mandalorian attempted to free his arm from the clones grasp to no avail. IC-104 yanked downward on the man's hand while he thrusted upwards on Hiro’s elbow with his pelvis. He felt skin stretch, tendons tear and finally the familiar pop as the joint came out of place, but 104 wasn’t done yet. He had to break this man if he wanted to live. He had to make sure he would never treat the clone as worthless again. 104 thrusted upwards even harder and their was a loud snap as the arm finally shattered.

“ARGH!” Hiro yelled in pain “YOU FETHING BASTARD!”

IC-104 released the armbar and stood from his position on the ground. The grapel was over in a matter of seconds. He spit a globule of blood and saliva onto the pristine white floors of the Kaminoan facility, now smeared with the crimson life of both men. IC-104 marched to where his bruised and battered brothers stood and they patted him on the back. He turned to regard the Mandalorian trainers who had been observing the fight from a small balcony and crossed his arms. They simply nodded in approval then stalked away from the observatory. Hiro was left to march himself to the infirmary

KAMINO, TIPOCA CITY

Kamino wasn't new to Fett, nor with anybody that shared that name through blood. Just like the Clone that trained below, Koda had gone through the same grueling process to become a formidable warrior. From all the years it had been it didn't seem as if much had changed. The galaxy at war, troopers being born and raised for the sole purpose of fighting. The only thing that seemed different this time around was that who was fighting happened to be different, and this time Fett was being paid. Now he stood on the inside of Tipoca City, atop one of the balconies and overlooking the spar that seems to be taking place. With his arms folded over his breastplate he stood alone, offering nothing but a stare. Nearby were several Munins on a balcony of their own. The Bounty Hunter was resented by most Munins after the acts he'd performed against their clan and empire, but now they were under a contract, so they wouldn't try their hand at attacking the best in the business.

Though unlike the Clone Commando, the former clone trooper was designated ARC-4422. An Advanced Recon Commando. Historically, or at least it would be by now, the two special forces branches never really saw eye-to-eye even though they shared the exact some ones. Whether the team of four or solo individual was better was never really answered indefinitely, but the ARC Troopers certainly had the edge, that much was certain. Or was it just Koda's bias? There wasn't much time for answer anyways.

His eyes watching as the Commando left the little arena, then shifting back to Hiro who caught him staring, "What're you lookin' at Fett!" He barked aggressively only to watch as Koda stepped away and out of sight. Then reappearing in relatively close proximity to Enigma Squad. Standing still, his arms folded over his chest once again, waiting for their attention. After all, he was running them through the final stages, and as always for a fee of course.
