Malani was born in a small city on Hapes. Her parents owned a business in trading and procesing raw materials together, and although they lived in a small city, they were able to make a relatively profitable business. As Malani grew up, she showed a lot of intertest in business, and would often help her parents with the behind-the-scenese work of running a business. When she became an adult, she opted to get an official education in business, going to a university for it.
After university, Malani got involved in working management on various companies, constantly moving around of her own accord to get as much experience in different areas as possible. After a while, with the help of a friend(A young hapan man named Xander Endari), she started her own business that worked to help others start their own businesses and companies. Malani's and Xander's business did well, and eventually the two hapans' friendship blossomed into a romance. They decided to get married, but before the wedding could happen, Xander one day left Malani and Hapes, leaving her with nothing but a letter saying he was no longer happy there and had to go find his true self and happiness somewheer out there int he galaxy.
Even though she was heartbroken at the abandoment of her fiance, Malani continued her business and did her best to have it continue to flourish, although it was harder now that she was doing it on her own. Still, she was determinined to press on and try to forget Xander to the best of her abilities. But she is starting to get lonely with running the business without a partner and is looking to start a new business with someone else.

Malani's blonde hair is usually either up in a bun or flowing freely on her shoulders. As far as her attire goes, she usually wears business suits or similar businessy clothes.
Malani has a tattoo of a hapan flower on her lower back that she got along with her ex-fiance Xander.

- Optimistic Judge: Malani always expects the best of people, and although some times she can get blinded by this precept, she always gives people the benefit of the doubt, and because of that, people would usually find it easier to get along with her.

- Squeamish: Malani can't stand the sight of gross things and will quickly become sick to her stomach or feel faint in the sight of them.
- Emotionally Walled Off: Due to being abandoned by her fiance, Malani has becomed walled off emotionally, making it very difficult for her to develop deep relationships with others.
