PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Malcolm has dark blond hair shot through with silver, and is usually clean-shaven, though he occasionally lets his facial hair grow out. His eyes are a deep sapphire blue, and his skin tone is fair. His mode of dress incorporates the fashions of his native Chandrila into his Jedi attire, often wearing a grey Chandrilan noble's tunic and trousers, knee-high brown leather boots, a blue tabard bearing the emblem in silver of the light side of the Force with the Jedi crest superimposed in the four quadrants, and a brown leather belt with blue ties and strings of multicolored beads. Rather than a traditonal robe, he wears a dark grey cloak with blue trim. A pair of goggles usually hang around his neck, and in the field he frequently wears a brown leather cavalier-style hat with a blue plume.
When traveling more incognito, he wears grey trousers, a white collared shirt, a blue double-breasted vest reminiscent of a Chandrilan noble's tunic, a blue military-style hat with his goggles perched atop the brim, brown knee-high leather boots, and a bomber jacket similar to those worn by the Antarian Rangers.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Malcolm, despite his Jedi training, was permitted to communicate with his family, and developed personality traits common to the nobles of House Ironmaster, including a strong sense of social justice, a drive to aid those in need, and a penchant for the dramatic and flamboyant. Given a choice between walking through the door into a tense situation or entering that same situation by swinging through an open window at the end of a vine or climbing cable, he'll choose the latter more often than not. While he does believe in the tenets of the Jedi Order, he also subscribes to the philosophies of the Guardians of the Whills, particularly his belief that attachment isn't necessarily a path to the dark side, as his firm belief in the will of the Force leads him to accept that death and loss are a part of life and not something to be feared, causing a minor amount of friction with some of his fellow Jedi. He also believes that the Jedi have a moral duty to protect those who cannot protect themselves, even if this means protecting them from their own government.
STRENGTHS
Fluid Grace in Battle: Malcolm has studied both the Soresu and Makashi styles of lightsaber combat, and transitions between them on the fly as the situation directs.
Quick-Draw, Dead Shot: Malcolm has become quite proficient with both his E-851 blaster pistol and his DH-17 rifle, and favors using his E-851 in his off-hand while in saber combat.
I Shall Fear Nothing, For All Is As The Force Wills It: Malcolm trusts in the Will of the Force to such an extent that he fears little, if anything.
WEAKNESSES
Fortune Favors the Bold: Due to his fearlessness, Malcolm can become quite reckless, pressing an advantage he doesn't quite have yet, which can lead to setbacks and gives him an air of cockiness, brashness, and even foolhardiness.
Unconventional Jedi: Malcolm's study of the teachings of the Guardians of the Whills has distinctly colored his interpretation of the Jedi Code, and his unorthodox views have led to friction with some of his fellow Jedi, including spirited debates and the occasional duel.
HISTORY
Born in 851ABY in Hanna City on the planet Chandrila, Malcolm was the scion of House Ironmaster until the Order of the Silver Jedi came to recruit him. Fortunately for the family, his mother soon gave birth to his younger brother, Nathaniel, who became the new heir to the family fortune. Malcolm was permitted to remain in contact with his family at their request, and during a portion of his time as a Padawan, he and his Master were assigned to the Jedi chapel in Hanna City, where he completed most of his training. Shortly before his Knight trials, he and his Master traveled to Jedha, where he spent time discussing philosophy and the nature of the Force with members of the Guardians of the Whills, forever coloring his approach to his relationship with the Force and his duties as a Jedi.
As a Jedi Knight, he returned to Chandrila to visit his family, and was given his share of the inheritance in a trust fund, which he would gain control of once he turned 25. He traveled the galaxy, helping those in need and opposing those who would exploit the helpless. He became a Jedi Master shortly before his 25th birthday, and once he had control of the trust fund, he spent nearly all of it helping those who were less fortunate. He kept enough to properly equip himself, and then mostly operated using his stipend from the Order. To this day, he continues his personal crusade to make the galaxy a better place in his wake, one daring adventure at a time.
