BIOGRAPHY:
Malachi Frey began his life in the luxurious lap of the planet Empress Teta's wealthy. The Frey family made their wealth as financiers of the planet's renowned carbonite mining companies. At the age of 2, later than most, he began to exhibit force sensitivity. He was taken in by the Jedi temple on nearby Coruscant where he progressed slower than the average youngling. As with most students in the Jedi order who could not grasp proficiency with the force or lightsaber combat, he became a padawan learner in the archives. Although he did not fight or channel the force as well as his fellow padawans, Malich had a far better understanding of the philosophic and historic side of the Jedi teachings. He became enamored with the laws of the Jedi and the Republic, as well as military history and the tactics used in Jedi conflicts such as the Great Sith War and the Clone Wars. Through the galactic turmoil that was the beginning of Malich's adult life, he was confined to combing the archives; kept away from the true calling of a Jedi.
It wasn't until his thirties that Malich finally got the taste of combat that he had always wished for. The Great Galactic War called every Jedi to the front lines like no conflict had for centuries. Malich quickly distinguished himself in the Grand Army of the Republic. Battle after battle was won with Malich Frey in command of a ship, and the Republic recognized this. In that time of Galactic crisis, every private had a marshal's baton in their back. As a Rear Admiral of the Republic and the Galactic Alliance, he became disillusioned by the great many deaths of Republic soldiers. As he fought along side the Confederacy of Independent Systems he began to see the value of their droid armies. Towards the end of the war after his fleet was decimated near Mandalore, he chose to defect to the the Confederacy.
While his skills as leader and tactician flourished under the Republic, they were no longer needed for the droid army and Malich understood this. However, his true career path was unveiled in the aftermath of the war, as the Confederacy found use of his extensive legal knowledge in prosecuting galactic war criminals. For half a decade Malich has helped to shape the legal structure of not only his new home in the CIS, but also the galaxy, and continues to do so working for the confederate JAG corps.
WEAKNESSES:
-Weak Connection to the Force: Malich has always had difficulty using the force physically, being only able to manipulate basic objects and perform the basic force assisted combat moves a Jedi is taught.
-Poor Lightsaber Abilities: Malich, unlike most Jedi, is only barely proficient in lightsaber combat, which stems ultimately from his weak force connection.
STRENGTHS:
+Master Tactician: Malich became well known in the war for his knowledge of battle tactics. He credits his style to the classical era masters of the first Confederacy.

Frey stands at a tall six feet and two inches, with greying and balding brown hair. Frey is almost always seen in suits and military uniforms as opposed to the robes more often sported by Jedi knights.
