[+]Bladesman: Talented with the blade, Malleus is what one would call an overabundance of confidence in the field of lightsaber combat. The centuries spent in status not removing from his natural ability honed by years of training within the Jedi Order. While favouring particular styles he has adapted these into a simple yet violent style of lightsaber style that could be seen as taking elements from each of the traditional methods.
[+]The First of the Ren: When Belis was awoken from his status it was not to the galaxy he had known. He was introduced to the malevolent form of Sieger Ren, a once powerful Dark Force User from a time also forgotten. It was Belis who was first taken by Sieger to reform the Order of Ren, his already natural understanding of the force manipulated and darkened by the will of the soon to be Supreme Leader. Among the Order of Ren it is Malleus who is at the Supreme Leader’s favour, treated as a friend and with fatherly admiration.
[+]Force: It wasn’t sheer fate that led Sieger Ren to Belis’ status pod. Even while dormant the young Jedi’s force ability was there for him to hunger like the smell of freshly cooked meat. The force comes naturally to Malleus, allowing him a great ability to manipulate and twist it to his own will.
[-]The Betrayer of Ren: Shortly after the Order of Ren grew within the galaxy again Malleus was tasked with a mission by the Supreme Leader. He was seen to have betrayed the Ren and the First Order as a whole, leaving to pursue an individual means within the galaxy. His return to the Order has been met with levels of distrust and un-satisfaction towards his reasons, even with the Supreme Leader’s personal favour he can meet criticism and objection from within an order he founded.
[-] The Light and the Dark: During his initial training with Sieger it was discouraged for Belis to release his knowledge of the Lightside of the Force. He was told that for him to be at the ability the Supreme Leader needed him there would need to be a greater understanding and balance within him then merely light and dark. Yet what this has allowed is the formation of confusion within his wills. At times Malleus has been known to spin into states of Force rejection as his two wills counter the needs to manipulate the force.
[-]Dreams of Forgotten Times: To Malleus, the Jedi whom he was is gone. Dead to the tales of time, yet within Belis still fights against this by projecting memories and feelings long thought gone by the Ren. This is especially relevant during sleep, forcing awaking moments where the emotion of the sequence in question becomes too much for Malleus who is forced to retreat to dark meditation or risk mental instability.
T H E S T O R Y
SON OF REN
In the annuals of history the stories tell of the Jedi Order, the growing darkness and the Clone Wars. It tells of the heroes and the villains of that dark age that saw the formation of the first Galactic Empire and the fall of the Jedi. Individual names are long condemned to the lost spoken history of the era, yet it is from these very tales that Malleus boasts his origin. Once a talented young Jedi Knight known as Belis Toobin, the future Ren was one of the many Jedi to fight alongside the Republic in its last days. He was also one of the very few to survive the dreaded Order 66 and live through the culling of the Jedi. How he came to be in the Status pod frozen under the moons of Ivan IV is un-known, but it is believed that it is the reason he is alive to this day.
Belis Toobin Jedi Knight, around 33 BBY
He was found enclosed in the machine by the future Supreme Leader Sieger Ren, who was at the time placing the final pieces together of a plan that had been hundreds of years in the making. He released the young Jedi and using guile, lies and deception twisted him to his own will. Belis would become the first of the Ren, chosen messenger of the Supreme Leader and founding father of the revived order.
These early years saw Malleus work in the shadows alongside his dark master as they went about the recruitment of prominent imperialistic minded beings and brought them into the fold of the infant First Order. Slowly but surely their influence began to spread and then on Eriadu they were forced to play their hands earlier then expected with the booming expansion of the Galactic Alliance.
For those beginning years Malleus, dubbed as Belis Ren served the Supreme Leader without question or pause. Active on countless worlds he saw action in any activity he was ordered to do so. With his own personal legion of stormtroopers and star destroyer Belis Ren gathered what he could for the fledging First Order and with burning hatred saw that any who opposed the Supreme Leader met a grizzly death.
Then came the betrayal.

The moniker of Malleus came shortly after the Supreme Leader told his favoured child to leave his side. Between the master and the apprentice the agreement was that Belis would be capable of expanding his horizons and abilities should he leave the teachings of Ren and look into the other doctrines hidden around the galaxy. However officially a price was placed on his head the moment he left, his name branded a traitor and his titles stripped, he was a wanted man in a galaxy fast falling under the sway of the First Order’s banner.
To Sieger himself, it was a test for his apprentice. To infiltrate those orders he had long isolated himself from and to assure that he would survive any challenge thrown at him. He could only be joyed as reports of the betrayer flowed through his networks, a young rogue Ren casting off his chains and entering bodies such as the rising Sith threats and the Galactic Empire. Even the title of Darth had began to circulate and Sieger knew that it was time to call him home.
For he was ready for the next stage in his master plan…
