Alright, in order to avoid confusion for those that just read my post about Contruum. This thread is being repurposed into the Manaan Dominion thread specifically since I've been asked to take point on that. No need to discuss Contruum, and no need to make a new thread when I can repurpose this one.

I will start this thread sometime Sunday afternoon. Assuming that when I get on tomorrow afternoon that there is not a lot of opposition to that. My hope is to bang this out quickly, not to sacrifice quality or anything but to not get us bogged down. Quality should still stay good, but yeah.

Well... given that I was just asked to take point on Manaan. I guess I will make this thread here about Manaan specifically.

Also, the impression that I'm being given is that, while we can join both, they will serve very different styles of play. Anyone in this one will be welcome to be in Cato Neimodia (assuming that we don't IC run them concurrently, which as far as I know is not the case). I will likely not join Cato Neimodia, so I can focus on this one though.

Shouldn't we all be focusing on joining the main dominion instead of spreading ourselves thin by making more dominions? Just my two cents.

Why is a Jedi Knight leading a Dominion over so many other Jedi Masters? Doesn't make sense, wasn't discussed with the faction, and is kind of lame.

This thread is becoming rather aggressive.

The notion was that the Jedi take one Dominion, Republic the other. There could be crossover between them, but Manaan would be a more diplomatic story, while Cato Neimodia would be more action orientated.

In the end it doesn't really matter much who starts the thread or defining every plot point when we can improvise matters.

The reason is it getting aggressive is because the Republic and the Jedi are supposed to work together. I dunno who took charge and decided one certain person was going to start another Dominion, when their WAS discussion about the first Dominion, and now out of the blue there is a second Dominion being lead by someone who has never even joined a Dominion in the first place. The Jedi Grandmaster wasn't even consulted, that isn't working together, it is lame. That is why it is aggressive.

I don't even know you bro. The reason we are upset is because not only was Darron not told about this, this entire Dominion was created without ANY input from the faction. Who says we even want to go for this planet? Why can't I craft the story? What if I wanted to? So many things. This isn't how I expect OOC leadership to go. *Does stupid disappointed father look.*

I know for a fact this isn't how the Empire does this and they are kickin' butt.

We agreed to Cato Neimodia and decided to do Manaan next as a backup. YOU agreed to that as well. Selena posted about doing another dominion. Players are allowed to do dominions. So instead of having him go on his own thing I CCed him into the plan to go to Manaan. It's as simple as that. It is an OOC he's crafting a story and wants to take charge of a Dominion. IC obviously master characters are still over him.

Ok, I think we all need to take a chill pill and take this somewhere more private, I think that the end of the day it doesn't matter who leads it and it is a chance for us all to have fun creating a story together! so who cares who crafts the story... at the end of the day we are all on here to have fun.
