- Force Nexus:
- Intent: To create a Nexus for all the death caused by the Sith
- Nexus Name: The Death of Honor
- Nexus Alignment: Dark Side of the Force
- Size: Large - The Nexus covers a wide stretch of open land around the Ruined Capital of Sundari.
- Strength: Strong
- Accessibility: There is nothing keeping people from traveling into the Nexus’ area, which is situated around the Ruined Capital of Sundari.
- Effects: The amount of death and destruction wrought by the Sith is represented in the Dark Side that permeates the battlefield of Sundari, diminishing the strength of the Light Side and emboldening the Dark Side of the Force. Sounds and color within the Nexus are noticeable muted, with all wildlife having either fled or died off. The Nexus also affects the mental and emotional state of both Force Sensitives and non-Force sensitives, negative emotions are strengthened while neutral and positive emotions are numbed or completely deadened. Those more susceptible to manipulation will find themselves quicker to anger, quicker to violence, with echoes of the destruction brought on by the Sith tormenting their minds. There are ways to block out the Nexus' effects, either with Ysalamiri bubbles or with Void stones.
- Native Species: None
- Immigrated Species:
- Human (Galidraani and Tionese)
- Various Aliens
- Graug
- Akwasiarsosûta iw Muinsimi
- Population:
- Crowded - Northern Hemisphere
- Sparse - Southern Hemisphere
- Prior to the Empire’s occupation, Mandalore’s population averaged out around sixteen million. After the violence of the Siege, Mandalorian exoduses, and Operation: Decimation, the population of Mandalore was reduced by eighty-five percent; down to roughly two-point-four million. Following the Second Battle of Mandalore, the Empire recalled all of its colonists and loyal natives before purging the remaining native population entirely. The colonists were allowed to return to the Southern Hemisphere, while the entirety of the Dark Legion was given permission to resettle the ravaged Northern Hemisphere. There are currently around ten billion Graug on Moridinae, while the Human and Alien colonists number just around six million. Besides these, there exists a single Akwasiarsosûta iw Muinsimi living in the Ruins of Sundari.
- Demographics: Prior to the Empire’s occupation, Mandalore’s population was predominantly Human of Mandalorian culture. The Empire culled the vast majority of these Humans, gradually replacing them with Human colonists of Tionese and Galidraani culture. Aliens were also encouraged to immigrate from the Empire to Mandalore. Following the Second Battle of Mandalore, the native Mandalorians were wiped out while billions of Graug were allowed to resettle the ravaged Northern Hemisphere.

Mando’a(Outlawed by the Sith Empire on pain of death)
- Culture: Prior to the Sith Empire’s occupation, Mandalore was a vibrant hub of Mandalorian Culture and belief in the Resol’nare. The Sith made concentrated efforts to wipe out Mandalorian culture wherever they found it, including the destruction of sacred idols, revered locations, and outlawing cultural practices. The Sith even renamed the world on all official records that they possessed. Sith-Imperial cultural norms, particularly Tionese and Galidraani, began to replace the rapidly retreating Mandalorian culture. Following the Second Battle of Mandalore, the entire Graug population in the Sith Empire was allowed to resettle the Northern Hemisphere. They brought their culture and religion with them and began to reshape the environment after their own needs and beliefs.
- Government: Military Protectorate
- Affiliation: The Sith Empire
- Wealth: Poor - The majority of Mandalore’s population was destroyed or displaced by the Sith Empire’s anti-Mandalorian policies, and their wealth was confiscated to fund further military operations. This dropped the overall wealth of Mandalore down to abysmal levels, which was only further impacted by the Empire’s mining of the planet’s surface and the plundering of its natural resources.
- Stability: Medium - Following the Second Battle of Mandalore, the native population was wiped out entirely and replaced with loyal Imperial colonists and Graug. Though the Imperial half of the planet is orderly and regimented, the Graug half is more chaotic and turbulent.
- Freedom & Oppression: The non-Imperial inhabitants of Mandalore are heavily oppressed, forbidden to marry outside of their culture group, prevented from traveling from Mandalore, and subjected to being arrested without trial for any provocation. On the other hand, the Imperial colonists filtering in to replace the displaced Mandalorians are afforded the same privileges they enjoy throughout the rest of the Empire. Following the Second Battle of Mandalore, the native Mandalorians were wiped out entirely.
- Military: Mandalore is completely demilitarized except for the occupational garrison and the true Imperial citizens, native Mandalorians are prohibited from owning weapons or armor.
- Technology: The technology employed by the citizenry and the military of Mandalore is up to snuff with the latest technology employed by the Sith Empire.
The world of Mandalore had known great periods of strife and upheaval in its long history, from being subjected to the Candorian Plague, ravaged by the Jedi in the Mandalorian Excision, and exploited by the Great Galactic Empire for its resources. More recently, it suffered alongside the rest of the galaxy during the Four Hundred-Year Darkness, fought among themselves for resources, and even battled the Yuuzhan Vong before finally reunified under the Mand’alor Emberli Garett.
A war with the Sith Empire nearly reignited conflict on Mandalore, but the war ended with the intervention of the Jedi and the Republic. Again, the Mandalorians averted yet another travesty as they rose to prominence and helped topple the Sith Empire; occupying worlds such as Thule and Dromund Kaas. The Sith, vowing revenge for these insults, plotted in secret to one day destroy the Mandalorians.
For years after, Mandalore prospered under subsequent successful rules. By prosperity inevitably gave way to stagnation, and the Mandalorian people grew complacent in their cushion of power. There were some who saw this state of complacency as a stepping stone to the Mandalorian people’s decline and found that they could not sit idly by. In secret, they planted seismic charges in the shaft of an enormous dormant volcano. The resulting detonation kickstarted a chain-reaction across Mandalore, razing the planet’s surface, killing off the majority of its wildlife, and leading to a mass exodus of the Mandalorian people.
Eventually, through the concentrated efforts of relief organizations, Mandalore would again become stable and would even flourish under the command of the resurrected Mand’alor Ra Vizsla. His disappearance, and the subsequent struggle for power that followed, would mark a turning point in the fortunes of Mandalore. The Sith Emperor Darth Carnifex began to exert more and more influence over key Mandalorian officials, turning the Mandalorian people towards war with their shared ancient rival, the Jedi Order.
During a series of border skirmishes between the Mandalorians and the Jedi, Carnifex sprung his trap and invaded Mandalore with an exceptionally large invasion force. For twelve days and twelve nights, the Sith and Mandalorians fought a visceral war in what became known as the Siege of Mandalore, with the Sith ultimately claiming victory over the Mandalorians. Mandalore itself was ruined, many of its people killed, driven off, or enslaved.
The Sith immediately began to solidify its hold on the planet and the system itself, destroying rebellious population centers and carrying out the systematic genocide of cultural Mandalorians known as Operation: Decimation. Not only that, but the Sith also began to ravage Mandalore for its natural resources, especially beskar. Huge mobile molecular furnaces scoured the planet’s surface, while city-sized diggers began to churn up the hard stone underneath. Over time, the devastation could be seen from space, a seemingly permanent testament to the Sith’s cruelty, malice, and will to dominate all life.
In an attempt to erase Mandalorian culture, the Sith Empire renamed the planet Mandalore to Moridinae after the revered Sith Emperor Moridin.
After several months of harsh occupation, the once-broken Mandalorian Clans attempted to reunify and planned an attack to retake their shattered homeworld from the Sith. This attack culminated in the Second Battle of Mandalore, which ultimately ended in the Sith repelling the Mandalorians away from Mandalore. Though they were repelled, they managed to liberate a substantial portion of the native Mandalorians stuck on Mandalore, as well as from the nearby labor camps. Following the battle, the Empire accelerated Operation: Decimation to wipe out the native population of Mandalore once and for all. All Imperial Colonists were briefly recalled from Mandalore to allow this genocide to go unabated.
In the aftermath, the Imperial colonists were brought back to an uninhabited world and given permission to resettle anything South of the planet's equator. Everything North of the equator was given to the Dark Legion, the Sith Empire's ten billion strong Graug mega-horde that had been living on Cazador in the Asobi system. They named their portion of the planet New Gratos, while the Imperial name of Moridinae came to refer to the Southern Hemisphere.
