HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Despite being one of the smaller Clans, Clan Rauth was founded nearly four thousand years ago during the Mandalorian Wars when a mercenary named Dyvis Rauth signed on with the original Neo-Crusaders and fought against the Jedi and the Republic. Rauth ended up marrying another Neo-Crusader before the end of the war, and despite the defeat at Malichor V by Revan, they managed to survive and link up with other Mandalorians to continue the tradtions that they had swore their lives to. Clan Rauth went on to continue to fight in battles and wars that came after though they never attempted to take an active part in what could pass for Mandalorian politics, usually swearing allegience to whichever Manda'lor was currently claiming the title without any questions.
Despite being smaller, Clan Rauth has contributed many daring warriors over the centuries. During the Mandalorian Civil War, where clan Alor Tylo Rauth and four of his warriors were among those killed at the Battle of Galidraan. Tylo's son, Kade Rauth, was among the seventy five Mandalorians summoned to Kamino by Jango Fett prior to the Clone War to serve as a member of the Cuy'val Dar where he trained Clone Commandos for the Grand Army of the Republic before the Battle of Geneosis.
Approximately four hundred years after the Battle of Yavin, Clan Rauth would see a significant change under Marek Rauth. Marek Rauth would end up taking the Clan away from their traditional stronghold on Mandalore and assuming a nomadic lifestyle which the clan current operates on to this day. However, an unstable nomadic lifestyle compounded with the processes of combat led to the weakening of Clan Rauth's numerical strength, with the majority of the clan being wiped out on a job that left only Walon Rauth alive. Walon ended up selling many of Clan Rauth's assests such as ships and supplies, burying his dead relatives in an abandoned mineshaft which he collapsed with explosives to ensure no one got their armor after removing the iron heart from each set.
Walon Rauth decided to leave behind the way of the warrior, and settled down on Sorgan. He eventually married a woman named Ava Rellios with whom he had a daughter, Zenia Rauth. However, any attempts at a peaceful life were ended when raiders attacked their home, and Ava was killed saving their infant daughter from their burning home. This event drove Walon over the edge and led him to go on a vendetta and kill every single raider. After this, Walon returned to the mercenary lifestyle as a bounty hunter, taking Zenia with him, eventually joining the nomadic Mandalorian group known as The Death Watch Crusade.
