Mandalorian Empire Name Change Vote

Hei Hei Mandos! ​

The Admin staff and I have been considering a name change for the Empire... because, well... ​

​

... we're not an Empire. ​

​

There's no throne, there's no Emperor/Empress, and the laws don't match the seemingly imperial quality of Mandalorian Empire. ​

​

We would like to change our official Faction name to:

Mandalorian Protectorate​

​

Please give us your vote, 'Yay' or 'Nay' so site staff can see our due diligence in this matter. ​

Remember when we had long-standing Mandalorian characters die over the throne that DEFINITELY exists? The Mandalorian Empire is what Yasha built her foundation on. It's heresy and stupid to say that there isn't a throne when there's threads about it being there.

that is- by all intents and purposes, the Sole Ruler.

I like the Protectorate. It seems more in line with Protecting Mandalorians, the culture, and so forth.

Not that I think "Mandalorian Empire" is a very good name either. But "Protectorate" in the traditional definition implies dependency on another sovereign state. "Mandalorian Protectorate" sounds like a colony subordinate to a foreign power.
