If we are neutral we can work with th e mando I believe. And wouldn't the recent changes to the rules give us some protection?

If the Dominon hits Tier 3 (a concept I abhor); as an example of the Sith or Republic going after Alderaan, then we can do a rebellion which gives the choice of either going major or denying it and remaining neutral (if we win the Rebellion).

Considering the reputation of the One Sith writers on the site?

Even if we come out with a victory, they'll fight tooth and nail to say they one, at which point they'll probably call in an RPJ in an attempt to force their opinion.

If they did win they'd more than likely would also ignore the faction (which I believe is the problem that was had with the GR).

It's worth putting up a fight though if the One Sith do attempt to take Alderaan.

I'm hoping they continue pushing to the outer rim and leave us be.,,

If we continue to build Alderaan and entice more nobles we stand better chances and in my view have more opportunity for story

At this point, if we tried a rebellion we could not win, period. The current administration as Amelia pointed out is an incredible pain, and worst then past ones the pubs have dealt with. If they don't win IC, they use OOC drama to try and force their way. Think of the Sith Coup, if we rebel, its the same situation aside for the fact its on Alderaan.

This may be speculative however as we don't know if Alderaan no longer rests in the GR 'cloud'. If it is, our best hope is to be overlooked.
