Name: The Mandalorian Union

  • Mand'alor et Yaim'ol/Mandalore the Reclaimer sits at the head of the Mandalorian Union government, and acts as the final voice in all matters political, social, and military importance surrounding the Union. He sits at the head of the Council of Alors, the primary governing body of the Union, through which matters of state; laws and internal policy, are r\created through. On the Council of Alors is also one seat reserved for the Clanless warriors of the Mandalorian Union, so that all voices can be heard. They serve as the Legislative Branch of the Government.
  • The Council of Founders is a more informal body, made up of some of the Unions founding members, and warriors from the Union who have proven their determination and loyalty, though they have no Clans they themselves lead. They serve as an advisory body to the Council of Alors, and a direct voice to the Mand'alor when he must ask questions and make decisions of great importance. They serve as the Judiciary Branch of the Government.
  • While the Mand'alor serves as the head of government as has near unrivaled powers, the Alor Council and the Founders Council both have the ability to veto decisions he makes should either reach a majority vote. If only once Council makes this decision, the Mand'alor is able to go to the other and present his case one more time, and if that Council votes in favor of the decision, the veto can be removed.
  • The Mandalorian Union Military is lead by the Mand'alor directly, and he holds absolute authority over matters of national defense, foreign military policy, and military development. The Union Military is divided into regional sector forces, each led by a Battlemaster, who is subordinate to the Mand'alor directly, and their sector governor. The Battlemaster of each sector sees to the training, equipment, and deployment of their forces to defend Union worlds. Above the Battlemasters, and answering solely to the Mand'alor, are the Field Marshals. These are warriors and commanders without equal in the Union, and are trusted by the Mand'alor to act with his authority in the field when he is not present. They are capable of organizing multiple Battlemasters and various sector forces into a cohesive fighting force when wars outside the Union's borders are necessary, and are the only ones capable of acting beyond the bounds of the Councils. The position of Field Marshal is only given to those of the highest trust, capability, and integrity within the Union for this reason.
  • The Governors of Mandalorian sectors are chosen by the Council of Alors, and approved by the Council of Founders. They act as the political, social, and economic authority of their assigned worlds, and are directed to carry out the directives of the Councils and Mand'alor, as well as any personal policies they see fit, as long as they do not infringe upon Union laws.
  • The Mandalorian Union has one Subfaction, the Death Watch. Formed by members of Clan Vizsla loyal to the Union, the new Death Watch seeks to erase the taint and history of the organizations past, and establish a new legacy of Honor, Duty, and Integrity. They serve as the Unions special operations unit, and operate in small detachments to carry out missions chosen by their Watchmaster, as well as serving as the Unions primary anti-force user task force. As well, warriors of Death Watch operate as the Honor Guard of the Mand'alor when necessary, and protect him when he travels beyond the borders of the Union.

Description: The Mandalorian Union is a gathering of Mandalorian Clans and individuals from across the galaxy, united together with the goal of freeing Mandalore from foreign oppressors, and creating a new nation within the Mandalore Sector. Unlike past Mandalorian nations, the Union does not seek to begin a new phase of galactic scale crusades or wars, instead focusing primarily on fortifying, protecting, and rebuilding the Mandalore Sector which has for so long become a bombed out wasteland. Their primary focus of rebuilding their home however shall not stop the Union from following the new direction that has been put before them as well. They know the pain of losing a home to foreign invasion, and will seek to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and aid the honorable and valorous warriors across the galaxy in the unending battle against darkness.

The Pitch: As of today, there are no Mandalorian Major factions on the site. There are plenty of Mandalorian groups scattered around, but none that are on the map creating a nation and collective story. The Mandalorian Union pitch is that we seek to do just that, create a story and nation of Mandalorians who have suffered through the history here on Chaos, and are looking to rebuild their homes, reconnect with their traditions, and stand united against the threats of the galaxy being gathered against them.
