HANGER CAPACITY (SPACE): 5 Rating

HANGER ACCOLATIONS:

STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Defensive Capabilities: The ship has a very high defense rating, mainly because of the cargo it possesses. Being a salvage vessel, and the means to turn a profit, the ship needed a strong defense to protect the crew and cargo from pirates and the like.
  • Cargo Storage: The ship has a massive cargo storage facility, able to haul tons of salvaged materials. Its next to the hanger bay, making it easy to move materials about more efficiently.
WEAKNESSES
  • Maneuverability: Even with the aid of the maneuvering jet system, the ship is in a poor condition to maneuver easily.
  • Speed: The ship lacks the speed to outrun nearly all ships, hence the need for a high defense and armaments.
Length: 1000 Meters

DESCRIPTION

After several years of working with salvage teams, saving up credits and budgeting his life, Skyler was finally able to commission his own personalized salvaging starship. He opted to use Kalevala Spaceworks, a Mandalorian based company on Mandalore. Working with the company's engineers, they designed plans to create the salvage ship, Mando II. The ship was designed to have a massive cargo hold and a sizeable hanger bay, both for storing and moving around salvaged materials. It also came with many different armaments. Along the surface of the ship, eight manually operated turbolasers dotted the top part of the ship, while ten automated point-laser defense cannons covered the bottom and strategic locations on the top. In other strategic locations on the starship, mass-driver missile launchers were installed, computer automated but manually programed, that use two different types of missiles: the cluster and cruise missiles respectively.

The ship lacks speed. It is very slow, thus the need for the heavy armaments, and cannot outrun most ships. Also, because of its lack of speed comes the inability to maneuver properly; or with efficient speed. The maneuver jets help the starship, and it's one of the main reasons it can maneuver properly. To help in the defense, with its lack of speed and maneuverability, is the friend or foe transponder.

The ship's crew quarters can hold up to twenty crewmen comfortably, which is the optimal number for the starship to run properly and to conduct the work it does. A separate quarter, away from the crew, is the captain's quarters; personalized to his taste. A cafeteria is situated in the center of the ship, where meals are served to the crew. A medical bay is present, to treat unwanted and unforeseeable injuries and accidents. Both the engineering bay and maintenance bays were constructed for repairs on the vehicles and droids, as well as refit them depending on the terrain types.

Nicely made! I would like to ask you to add these parts to you template. These are not part of the pre-made fields but still part of the template.
  • Hangar Space: (Please provide the amount of fighters/support craft this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. )
500m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 1 | Low: 2 | Average: 3 | High: 4 | Very High: 5 | Extreme: 6 ]
750m [Base: 1 | Very Low: 2 | Low: 3 | Average: 4 | High: 5 | Very High: 7 | Extreme: 9 ]
1000m [Base: 1 | Very Low: 3 | Low: 4 | Average: 5 | High: 7 | Very High: 9 | Extreme: 11 ]
  • Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)
    • Starfighters: x squadrons
    • Support Craft: x squadrons
Hyperdrive: (Does this ship have a hyperdrive? If this ship has a hyperdrive how fast is it? The lower the number, the faster the ship is, you may choose decimals. Any speed below 1.0 requires the hyperdrive to be added to the ship’s strengths and accordingly balanced with weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)
