Mando thread [Skirmish]

http://starwarsrp.net/topic/60649-when-the-cats-are-away/#entry904273

The admins have been speaking to the Mandos regarding doing more RP with them and forming a stronger relationship.

Which in the future will involve, some cross training and trade etc.

So, here is a link to an RP for anyone in SJO that might like to go join them in a fight. Feel free to take whatever SJO ships and items and weapons etc you might need.

But have fun!

Generally invasions start off fast but slow up to a more reasonable pace in a day or two. Usually.

The same will be for the skirmish.

They are more PvP, once that is established you really only need to concentrate on that part which is relevent to you. That is why most will post their objective and allies and enemies etc.

Save you reading every single post. Naturally you can if you wish but sometimes that is not possible.

The present Mando/Prime invasion is actually one of the slower ones...and still going very fast. Hence why I've mainly been focusing on my duel and skimming others' posts here and there.

Yeah, it can be pretty intimidating and such at first. Even after a year and a half on the board I still get the "Wall of No" feeling when I join a skirmish or invasion halfway through. Heck, you can even get that way when you join a fast paced Dominion halfway in lol If you've got any questions or concerns, feel free to hit me up and hopefully I can help a bit.

I think I'll wait until I'm a bit more familiar with how things work before jumping into something like that. Probably figure out how PvP works around these parts in a smaller scale thread first too...

Does everything have to happen in one large thread or do people having separate duels and stuff split off?

Mostly its the same thread and you just occupy your section/duel. Sometimes folks make a separate thread for it, but that usually doesn't happen unless someone's continuing a duel for an ended thread or they want some basic privacy more so than they can get with a regular thread.

Been here three years and I still get that feeling.... and I am now using that quote from now on Vod.

[member="Maya Whitelight"], No where near wrapping up at the current time. Still in the first page I believe. Either way, if you want to maybe get a punch or two in, you can try. I can maybe throw in an alt for the primeval so you can have a fight if you want.

[member="Xander Carrick"] mmm that would be interesting seeing her have to raise a sword to fight but could get me ready for what is to come. So I"m not so out of shape as old saying goes, .. yea lets do it ... :D
