Rationale: Clan Rekali's expansion into the Hard Roil, and its trade stations throughout the Gordian Reach, inspired a need for tasty, authentically Mando cuisine. The Clan's dominance of Yavin IV and strong position on Dathomir -- both underdeveloped worlds with immense green space -- led to the creation of a farming initiative. The Clan explored various means of taking animal protein from point A to point B in a morale-boosting way. Ultimately, they settled on burgers, as one does.
Heading the initiative was Alec Rekali, as part of her training to eventually take over the Clan's business operations. Fresh from a stint as CEO of Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps, Alec was not hugely enthused about helming a burger joint. Nevertheless, such were the Aliit'buir's orders, so Alec set out to make MandoBurger unforgettable.

Description: MandoBurger markets a high-end fast food experience to long-haul spacers who make port at Clan Rekali waystations. Farms on Yavin IV and Dathomir provide succulent nerf and jakobeast meat (nerf for export, jakobeast for Mando territory), as well as proprietary Witch-based processing techniques. Though the effect is not as profound as with AEI's LeviaCan Tinned Meat (a grilled slice of which is a component in MandoBurger's RaveBurger), MandoBurger can be an unusually beneficial part of a balanced diet. As one's arteries clog, one's mind and body become enlivened; as one pukes up fast food, one feels the siren song of the Force in a tiny and unprepossessing way. If pressed, noted Witch crafter and Clan Father Ember Rekali would admit that he was somewhat inspired by a unique and secretive element in the cookies of Mirai Confectionary Company.
