STRENGTHS

Fortitude: Mangus is physically adept. A trait born of a hard life and many challenges thrown at him at a young age. It is because of these things rather than any training or studies that have given birth to his raw strength and endurance, as well as a high degree of tolerance for pain. Though Mangus does not flaunt strength or pride himself on being strong as some might, he is thankful that his labors were bred into something as useful as this.

Agile: Due mostly to his time training in the ways of the force, Mangus has often found himself fairly agile and nimble. Though clearly not to the extent of those with a smaller frame or specializing in agility, Mangus has often been able to perform various feats of agility without the aide of the force making him a rather unpredictable man at times.

Adaptable: To say Mangus is adaptable is an understatement to say the least. More times than he can count now his entire world and way of life has shifted direction, and at most times it was a simple choice of changing or dying for Mangus. Because of that Mangus has an uncanny ability to change, over the course of time, for what ever an encountered situation may call for.
Studious: Mangus possesses a natural inquisitive nature that leads him to delve into the unknown when time allows such things. One rule he lives by is never find yourself lacking in knowledge on the same subject twice, and because of that when he does not know about something he encounters he seeks to correct it. This, however; is not a yearning for knowledge but rather a chance at self improvement as he sees it.

Streetwise: Mangus has spent much time in the more unscrupulous locales of the galaxy. His ventures leading him to spice dens and slave markets alike, and though he does not like to mingle with the filth of these places he has found himself well versed with navigating the social circles found there. This is often a point of inner conflict for Mangus as he deliberates just how like these fiends he has become.

Gray:
Mangus is a Gray Force-User, he does not see Light and Dark Sides but rather everything as interconnected. Because of this he is not bound by rules and codes that restrict his beliefs and emotions, and allows him to carve his own path through the force by enforcing his own beliefs. This, however; is not a popular stance on things from the points of view of both Jedi or Sith making him enemies among both.
WEAKNESSES
Quick Tempered: Mangus dies, without a doubt, have a short fuse. It had often been a bone of contention between he and his former master, however; no matter the lecture or punishment he received his brash nature never subsided. Now, when the right buttons are pressed, Mangus often flies headlong into a flurry of anger lashing out at those that had incurred such wrath from him. This is not to say he is at all a violent or cruel man, just that it is far better to stay on his good side.

Over Confident: Mangus is a good fighter, at least in the circles he travels in, whether it be a Lightsaber or a Blaster. This fact has led him to the assumption that he in fact is one of the best warriors alive, and because of this he often underestimates his opponents and winds up hard pressed for a victory. Though he has not met his match yet, this trait will certainly spell doom for him one day.
Fear Of Flying: Mangus, while being well traveled across the Galaxy, actually becomes quite nervous when flying. The root of this fear is speculated widely upon by him, however; the cause is still unknown. What Mangus does know is that whenever a ship leaves the ground he cannot but count the seconds until it reaches it's destination and sets down once more.
Former Slave: Mangus is a former slave, taken by slavers as a child and raised in labor farms until he was twelve. Though the years have long since passed since those trying times the scars of hat he endured still weigh heavily upon him and torture his very essence. It is because of this Mangus so readily seeks to disrupt slaving operations when the chance arises, even if he offers no help to the slaves themselves.

Weapons

Lightsaber:

This is the Lightsaber crafted by Mangus as an initiate. Unlike many traditional Lightsaber Mangus' utilizes the long-hilt design, measuring in roughly at around three and a quarter hand-lengths, and trimmed in black and silver durasteel. Emitting a blue blade when activated, those experienced in the manufacturing of Lightsaber can plainly denote Mangus' as that of an aspiring duelist.

Blaster Pistol:

An older model Blaster Pistol Mangus acquired on one of his adventures, Mangus has found himself relying on it more times than he would like to recall. Due to equal parts superstition and sentimentality Mangus has opted to keep the worn-out side iron instead of replacing it referring to it as his 'good luck charm' each time to subject is brought up.

Appearance
The physical features of Mangus are those typical to most Corellian men of his age. His hair, though rather long and unkempt, falls in a shade of dark brown and is accompanied by eyes of a similar hue. Standing roughly six feet tall it is clear to see that he has a rather muscular build, however; not to the point of his body being cumbersome and looking like a hulking behemoth. Apart from that at first glance you may not notice too much about him for his is, at first glance, just an average Corellian. It is only upon closer inspection of the man that is Mangus to the truly striking features stand out so boldly.

Once more you may look to his eyes, dark brown they may be but holding a deep fierceness within them. A deep scar can be seen running across the right one leading you down his face to the tracks of burns and cuts from various encounters hidden beneath his clothing. If by chance you are able to see clearly the back of his neck then the raised burns of a brand become ever apparent. If you observe him closely as he walks then the experienced would easily notice a gait of wisdom in his stride, the trait of one far older than his years.

Personality
Mangus is an oddity all his own and summing him up in so few words is no easy task. What can be said about him easily is that he is like most of his kin from Corellia, rash and quick-tempered at times but showing great bounds of courage when you least expect it. His mind, however; is a one track thing alone. When he sets his sights on something he intends to see it done, no matter the consequences or whom it may effect in the process. This fact alone has seen him shunned by many he use to call close-friends, who would go on to denote him as selfish and uncaring. The sad part of it being that many times it seems they are right. Despite these facts there are many that know him that find Mangus rather pleasant to be around, his blustering bravado aside.

Though he is most definitely a bit rowdy, Mangus has been found to be a very studious disciple for those that have spent time teaching him. Both in his youth and early adulthood Mangus was known to devote both body and soul to furthering his knowledge of not only the force but of all things in the galaxy. Perhaps it was due to his one track mind he delved so deeply into subjects that interested him but whatever the case those days of intense study have left a lasting impression upon him, making him a tad more inquisitive than the average passer-by.

Though at times he does seem a bit calloused, the exception being when he is with close-friends or drunk, Mangus does have a tender heart for those bound by slavery. He is highly against it and actively seeks to throw a wrench into the plans of those that dabble in the trade which has led him into more conflicts than he can count. When asked why he cared so much for others in chains when he often readily endangered those he knew not in them he simply responded: "Chains should be used in the bedroom, not the workhouse."

Nice bio. Kind of cool that you managed to write a page and a half long story. I'm guessing you probably used this character before? He seems well-developed.

He's actually a revamp of one of my very first characters on Star Wars Legacies. He did well there so I hope I can make him of use here as well, after I put the final touches on his history.
