-Blaster Resistant Scales: The exoskeleton of the Mantanits were altered to hold against a single shot of laser fire. A second shot in the same spot would suffer major injuries equal that of a human with no armor.
-Loyal: Though unaware of the concept, Drones and Overseers are very loyal to Royal Minds. This often shows as they give their life's in the battle field to protect them and sometimes shown as they throw them self into the stormed as ordered.
-No Fear: The Drones have a concept that when they die they are absorbed into the hive mind and born again in a new body, thus they do not fear death or areas other fear.
-Multiple Vision: Can access multiple waves of vision including Inferred, and Ultra Violet.
Weaknesses:
-Hive Mind: Droned and Overseers often become lost and zombie like with the death of their Royal Mind. They become loosed and sometimes die or very violent.
-No Free Will: Drones and Overseers
-Genetic Similarity: A single virus that can attack their certain genome can kill the entire species.
-Low Light Vision: Very difficult for species to stay in high light environments such as dessert planets and planets with blue stars or multiple stars.

History: Developed by Umbrella Interest Company through development of a Genetic Augmented Gand Female into a female Royal Mind. This developed a Royal Queen, the only one in its existence and protected heavily by Umbrella Security Commission. With genetic modification to incubation of fertilized seeds the creation of the first male Royal Mind. After this 11 other Royal minds were created through the birth of the only female Royal Mind. Through further manipulation of the fertilization period, there were creation of the drone class. The drone seedling are cared for by umbrella staff until reaching the age of maturity. The drones are capable of sexual conception, only the super elite are birthed through the female Royal Mind. With adrenaline production and hormone level increased a drone can increase in strength and genetic structure to cocoon into a Overseer. Overseers have a jaw structure capable of communication to other sentient race. With compatible hive mind Overseers are often at a Royal Mind as translators.
Mantanit culture is a cookie cutter tier system, drone are the lowest with small variations becoming Overseers. Overseers are nobility and though work like drones, hold a higher statues with their ability to speak galactic basic. Royal Minds are at the top of the social classes, with the Royal Queen as a Mystic Legend among the race with only the Royal Minds knowing the truth. Though none of the race see the Umbrella Company as a god figure, they consider them close allies and protect them if need be. With the comfort of cold space and dark areas, Mantanits often prefer caves and cold spacecraft to a planets surface.
They travel in pacts known as Hives, their culture demands that the Royal Minds lead the lower classes. Within these hives are Clusters where the Overseers dictate the Royal Minds laws. In these clusters only the Overseer is allowed to mate with female drones and Overseers of the same Cluster. Mating outside the Hive is very dangerous as Umbrella Staff often take the young for study and testing. The dominate gene with the Hive Frequency is often given to that hive for further judgment. Sometimes though Drones do Mate with other Drones. Not against the law, if found out, Overseers often take the offering as their own. This proves undying loyalty to ones Royal Mind, though there is often strife within the counsel of Royal Minds. All the Royal Minds are Male and often argue who is the true mate of the Royal Queen, this would crown the Royal King.
