HISTORICAL INFORMATION

In Late 861 ABY, the Zweihander Union launched a brutal campaign on Ilum massacring the local population and causing outrage in the Galactic Alliance, Jedi Order, and New Imperial Order as the three groups began making preparation for a punitive expedition against the Zweihander Union. Seeing an opportunity to strike back at who he considered as Traitors, Marlon Sularen head of the Sularen Association ordered Dorian Sevanar to head to Ord Mantell and capture or destroy Haon Hafey's Facilities on the Planet, establish a Proxy Government for the Association and to capture Hafey himself. Haon Hafey was one of the main corporate backers of the Zweihander Union and Marlon Sularen intended to slowly take down the ZU and its allies starting with Hafey.

In the Following Battle for Ord Mantell, Dorian Sevanar's Forces supported by Mercenary Warlord Kenth Berik moved forth to launch an attack against Haon Hafey's gathered forces over the Planet and despite Reinforcements from the Zweihander Union, Dorian Sevanar and his own rienforcements under Gunther Torson were able to secure a foothold on Ord Mantell securing the remnants of Haon Hafey's Facilities and utilizing Hafey's former Corporate Headquarters as their provisional base of Operations in order to make plans for future expansion.

The Sularen Association link is apparently not publicly viewable. Codex rules says the following:

  • Do not place links in submissions to threads that are within the Archives or anywhere that cannot always be publicly viewed. (Ex. Faction Groups/Google Docs/Etc)

That aside, there is another matter that needs to be addressed.

You state in your submission as an objective fact that the Mantellian Authority controls Ord Mantell and has expelled the Zweihander Union and a PC called Haon Hafey from the planet. However, the Mantellian Authority is a Lore Organisation.

Only a major faction may exert total control over a planet. An Organisation (as well as a minor faction or a company) can wield significant influence, but influence is not the same as total control. You can headcanon the latter, but it is not an objective fact unless it is a major faction and the planet is within its influence cloud. This means that a ZU member (or anyone really) can still rp on the planet and write their stories. Ideally they will acknowledge the MA's presence and influence on the planet, but one cannot force the issue. Ergo one cannot use absolute language.

The thread you reference appears to still be ongoing. Now Lore submissions do not represent a fixed canon that overrides whatever anyone else is doing, so people can have different canons. Chaos is a buffet of multiple choices. So your group can claim they're on the planet, but another group can do the same.

Simplest solution to this problem is to alter the language somewhat to something along the lines of that the Mantellian Authority wields significant influence over Ord Mantell and resists the Zweihander Union and other outside parties who try to claim the planet. It regards itself as the legitimate government.

In the aftermath of the Battle, Marlon Sularen seeing an opportunity to expand his influence in the Mid Rim moved forth to launch an Invasion of Ord Mantell sending Reinforcements under Gunther Torson to move forth and oust the Keshiri Government in Exile.'

As mentioned in my preceding post, the thread is not finished and the conflict in it appears unresolved. So the language will have to be changed to something more neutral.

'The initial invasion was swift and brutal. Within 26 Hours [One Standard Day on Ord Mantell], Gunther Torson's Forces overwhelmed the forces of the Keshiri Government-in-Exile in Worlport, the Capital of Ord Mantell and in the Cities of the Great Rock and Trader's Quartier quickly securing control of over 50% of the Planet overnight while the Keshiri Fleet was annihilated by Dorian Sevanar's Fleet.'

'However, as they pushed deeper against the Remnants of the Keshiri Army-In-Exile, a new opponent suddenly appeared calling themselves the Republika Mantellska in Ord Mantell's Northern Continent as the Organization managed to secure 25% of the Planet with the Mantellian Authority holding 65% of the planet by the time they emerged. With the Keshiri Government-In-Exile falling apart and the rise of these two factions, a civil war on Ord Mantell is on the verge of erupting as the Sularen Association moves forth to deploy more forces to protect their interests on Ord Mantell.'

As I already mentioned in my last post, a Lore Organisation cannot claim total control over a planet. Functionally, there's no difference between saying that organisation X controls the entire planet or this or that percentage of it. So that needs to be changed. The hard numbers need to go.

The mention of the Republika Mantellska is a nice touch, but you do not decide what the extent of their influence is or how much they control. You can mention they exist and the Authority sees them as a rival, but you do not make decisions about a submission made by another writer. The Republika sub also makes no mention of the geographic region they are located in. A Lore submission cannot be used as a roundabout way to force one's canon on another writer.

Ord Mantell still needs to be hyperlinked, as you have been told before.

However, that is not even the most serious issue.

I already told you in my last review post that saying you control this or that percentage of the planet will not be allowed. This is the pertinent section of my post.

At this stage, it frankly looks like you are trying to sneak this in while claiming to make edits, hoping that you will not get caught by staff. This is not the case. Trying to deceive a member of staff will not be tolerated.
