- Manual Cycling Mechanism: One Power-Cell contains 20 bolts, however every 4 shots the weapon needs manually cycled to recharge by pulling the barrel back, using the cap at the rear of the weapon.
- Blaster Suppression Chamber: The purpose of this weapon is to be quiet, therefore the barrel of the gun acts as a suppression chamber, removing the excess energy, such as sound, from the shot. This does not render the weapon silent however, just quiet.
- Stun Setting Actuator: The weapon can be switched between blaster bolts and stun rounds due to the actuator installed which alters the variation of power that enters the holding chamber.
- Size: The blaster isn't too big or too small, it is perfect and works well for Marcella.
- Quiet: Thanks to the Blaster Suppression Chamber, the blaster is produces a quieter sound than regular blasters.
- Damage: The bolts that the blaster fires can cause more damage than usual due to the manual cycling system.
- Stun: The weapon has a stun setting, useful for taking people down when a more diplomatic approach is required.
WEAKNESSES
- Magazine Size: Due to the damage output and design of the weapon, it can only contain small magazines of Tibanna Gas.
- Manual Cycling: The weapon must be manually cycled every 4 shots, not particularly helpful on an active battlefield.
- Unreliable: Due to the weapon being hand-crafted, it tends to fall apart after continuous use, therefore consistent maintenance is required.
- Noise: The weapon is not totally silenced and can still be heard in low level sound environments.
Crafted & refined by Marcella over the years, the weapon is perfectly configured for her use. Pieced together from a number of acquired components and materials, the weapon is a manual-cycle suppressed light blaster pistol. In the construction of the weapon, which took two years to piece together from both scrap, stolen and purchased material, there was no exact science to the configuration. Marcella had simply wished for a quiet, light blaster that could stun, all useful traits for a weapon in her line of work.
