The newest generation of the New Imperial Order's legacy, Mari is a shining example of how this generation is a different breed from the rest. Her conception and birth is a tragic tale, as she was the result of a one night stand between two members of the Scar Hound's Horde. Plopped into an incubation tube and turned over to the Horde's command, from the moment she was "born," Mari was brought up in a hostile and dystopian enviroment. Her first several years were spent under the Scar Hound's corruption and training to become one of them. She never knew her parents, or love, or compassion. She only knew a world of anarchy and nihilism. However, when she was five, her mother had come back for her. Apparently she had a change of heart - or her previously corrupted and brainwashed mind had been cleaned. Mari did not know the difference. But her mother, Aoki-Barran Mira , took her back to her "true home" in crumbling Empire space. As it turned out, this horde child was a member of the highly esteemed Barran noble family. Obviously, she had some deep mommy issues. She was given the best possible upbringing they could give her, trying to heal her trauma through love and compassion. But her world was far from stable, as she watched the Empire fall and saw Galidraan fall into Empire Of The Lost command. Living in hiding under the Imperial Military Protectorate, Mari has grown into a dark and rebellious Imperial Knight Errant.
