- Toolkit: The gauntlet has a wide range of of tools and devices used for electronic repair and work. This allows it to be used for the majority of work on stuff that doesn’t require heavy duty work such as repairing a speeder chassis which would either take a lot more time, or better equipment. Rather this works best with droids, cybernetics, door locks, and other light work but high detail electronics.
- Electronic system: The gauntlet is capable of serving as a transceiver to multiple signals which can be encrypted. The system can also be hooked up manually to a device using a wire system to provide direct control, or to allow it to gain more signal. It has a screen and a small holo-projector and video or still image capture.
- Manual control: Because much of the electronic part of the system can be controlled manually, activated on or off, it makes it easier to prevent hacking.

- The gauntlet offers no combat advantages, even the laser tools would be better replaced by even a cheap low quality blaster.

The gauntlet was made so that Mariah could perform work on the go more easily. In order to save space she combined this with a computer and communications system allowing her a wide range of uses. The primary use however was that it carried a surprising amount of tools, all set to fit into it more easily and discreetly. This allows her to walk around with a computer and toolkit in one pretty much wherever she goes. Although these are not the highest grade and do have limited use, they allow her a lot of intricate work.
The gauntlet does lack almost any combat purposes. It wouldn’t be too hard to destroy and doesn’t provide much defense either.
