- Description: Nestled between hills and woodland, Mariana Vale's homestead is a sturdy building made of wood, slate and straw. With two stories, the ground floor is split up into various rooms, partitioned by sliding paper doors. This includes a bedroom for both Mrs Vale and Eve respectively, and a kitchen and living area that serves as one single space with a high ceiling, within which sits an burrowed fire pit at the centre used for cooking and heating the building. Along the upper floor is a small balcony that overlooks the central room, and leads to what is essentially an attic and storage space which may also be used for guests, whilst outside there is a bamboo outhouse bathroom with running water. The building sits along a small stream that flows from one of the nearby hills, and both this and a well on the land provides water, whilst a humble field around the back of the building is used to grow an assortment of local fruits and vegetables. The building has no regular power, however there has recently been installed a small water-powered generator that allows Mrs Vale to at least use a datapad when she needs, which granted isn't very often. A path along the stream leads to a small stable that houses two orbaks used for working the field and travelling/transporting goods to and from the nearest town.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
This house was built between 889 ABY and 890 ABY by Mariana and a Jedi nomad who came to the Vales' help when they needed it most. Homeless after their farm was raided by bandits upon word of Mariana's Jedi husband disappearing, Mariana and Everest were forced to camp in Eshan woodlands until the stray Jedi came to their aid. Selflessly, the Jedi used her own asset and hired several hands to assist in building a new home for the Vales, and over the years since, Mariana and Eve have made it their own, adding additional features as the need arose. Now Eve has left to join the New Jedi Order, Mariana lives here alone with her Eshan Malamute dog Cid, tending to her humble vegetable field with the assistance of her orbaks.
