Marina Sularen spent so many years running away from her name that she forgot what it truly meant to simply be.
Born to a single mother on Byss and raised on Azure, Marina inherited the tarnished name of a traitor to the Alliance: Sularen. It was a bloodline that haunted her youth, following her through the academy like a plague. Yet in spite of this weight, she carried on, hoping to one day become a Sularen to be proud of. On Azure, Marina attended the Academy of Military Science, graduating with honors before continuing her education as a member of the Azuran Junior Legisture Division. It was in this program that she discovered her passion for galactic governance, and would be the launch pad for her career in politics.
Through several years of hard work and impressive results in Azure's planetary government, Marina gained the attention and admiration of the system's Moff, who would put her name forth as one of Azure's diplomatic representatives serving beneath its senator.
Marina serves her people's interests, though she always has a keen eye on an opportunity to climb the political ladder.
