Mark of Darkness

Upon becoming a Sith Knight, or when a Sith Knight or Master joins the One Sith, the Dark Lord rebrands the Sith and bestows upon them two signs of their loyalty to the One Sith.

The first sign is a Darth name given by the Dark Lord himself.

OOC Note: The Writer is free to choose their own Darth name, yet in-character it will be something given by the Dark Lord.

The second sign is the MARK OF DARKNESS. The Dark Lord will envelope his new Sith Knight or Master in Force Lightning. The process will brand the individual with the Mark of Darkness - which shall appear somewhere on his or her body at a seemingly symbolic location.

For each Sith, the Mark of Darkness is unique. No two Sith will ever have the exact same Mark. The texture and pattern will be different. Sometimes, words or symbols might form. Other times, pictures or patterns will be more prominent. The Mark adapts itself to the Sith's behavior and becomes a reflection of who they are.

Not only that, but the Mark will grow the stronger the Sith becomes in the Dark Side. For Sith Knights, the Mark begins as something similar to a circle. Yet when they become Sith Masters, the Mark will have evolved to appear to be something similar to the ancient symbol of the Sith Order. Even after becoming a symbol, the Mark will grow - yet what it becomes in the end is totally dependent on the Sith that bares it.

For those doubting whether or not a Sith is a member of the One Sith, it is customary to show a glimpse of their Mark to the other. It is something that can be hidden from plain sight through the Force, yet it will always remain just underneath the Skin and ready to appear at any moment.
OOC: The Mark of Darkness will appear where the Writer of the Sith wants it to appear, and how it looks is up to them so long as it appears to be building into the symbol of the Sith Order. Have fun using this little piece of lore!
