Gluk, Stock, and Two Smoking Lasers
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
- Intent: Toss bad guy in trash can. A consequence that people might take, that isn't death or infinite prison or something else character-neutering. Yes, I'm fully aware of how underpowered this is by current stats metrics.

Imagine you're a guild of spacers - a Spacer Guild, even - and you catch someone who causes you grief. A normal prison won't do the job and you just need this person to go bye-bye for a while. You lock them in a marooning pod and toss them into deep space, or send them to colonize some uninhabited moon or whatever.
Will it keep them away forever? Maybe. Will they have a perfectly pleasant hermitty life in their little pod-turned-survival-shelter, alone forever and talking to a volleyball? Maybe. Will they find a way to hitch a ride or get rescued? Maybe. Will law enforcement charge you for marooning someone? Maybe. Would shooting them have been more efficient? Yeah.
But for the time being, the bad guys are no longer your problem, and that's good enough for you.
