surrogate father who lives on Coruscant; a very wealthy businessman and noble who is highly respected within the Galactic Alliance upper-class society and political arenas. He oversees the Kobitana Foundation, which aims to bring positive influence in political arenas through financial support of various projects and initiatives, as well as financial backing of Galactic Alliance Senators who align with specific goals of the foundation. His Foundation has raised billions of credits for noble causes across the galaxy and has been a significant proponent of the Galactic Alliance and its influence.

- Personality: He is rather quiet and comes off as an introvert. He often seems lost in thought, and does not engage with people unless there is a specific reason. He is very honest, loyal, and comes across as humble, yet intellectually sharp. His voice is naturally soft, however he can become assertive with his tone when he is engaged in important conversation or speaking on behalf of a worthy cause.

He is a self made man who worked alongside his father in their own business on Coruscant, which was a shipping yard. When he was older, he took it over and expanded his fathers business into a massive collection of successful ventures, many of which were associated with trade. He quickly became a millionaire, but he always held onto his humble beginnings. As He grew in financial success, he began to enter into the world of the upper class. At first it was very uncomfortable, but he quickly realized that he had the ability to bring real change in the galaxy through his relationships. He developed into a very well-known political influencer, and even became close friends with senators and governmental officials. He eventually created the Kobitana Foundation, and used it as a way to funnel finances and raise funds on behalf of causes that he cared about. He quickly became one of the go-to financial benefactors of the political arena, however he was very strict on what he would back financially.
He knew Kalie Alverez because of her mother, who was a senator that was relationally and politically very close to him. When she was tragically assassinated, Marovik was very compassionate towards Kalie and helped to finance her through college, as her own father refused to support the girl. They became very close, and Kalie considered Marovik to be her surrogate father. When Kalie joined the SIA, he agreed to let one of her personas, Tiresh Kobitana, become a cover as his own daughter, allowing Kalie to use his name and his foundation in order to gain audiences with senators and political persons of interest, as well as advance covert agendas through the financial backing of the foundation.
The persona of Tiresh Kobitana is largely based on Kalie's own mother, which is a deeply felt connection for Marovik, who had become romantically involved with Kalie's mother before she was assassinated. This romance is also the primary factor in why he brought Kalie in and treated her as if she was his own daughter.
