SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Wearing the Mask naturally scatters and projects a false sense of the individual. Making them hard to detect, and harder to discern if they are of the Light, or Dark.
  • Wearing the mask allows the wearer to increase abilities that have to do with vocal patterns. Abilities like Scream, Bellow, Dun Moch, are increased in potency, with reduced energy consumption.
  • A unique application of the mask allows one to "project" a voice or sounds that can be created by the vocal cords at a much farther distance than what the natural voice would be able to do.
STRENGTHS
  • Naturally aids the wearer in Stealth based applications.
  • Can be used to increase efficiency and power of vocal based abilities.
  • Project one's voice to a desired location. This can be a whisper in an enemy's ear, speaking to friendlies over a long distance, or even causing an ability like Force Bellow to emanate somewhere the user would have previously been unable to reach.
WEAKNESSES
  • As an artifact of the force. it can be destroyed by other force based objects.
  • Suppressive measures of the force can dampen and prevent usage of the mask.
  • Its not armor, and cannot replace armor. Nor can it be integrated into advanced armor set ups or a full faced helmet. Can be worn alone or with other items that don't obscure the lower face/mouth.
  • Application of the force requires the user to know where they are placing said voice. So using it "Over there." doesn't work. They need to be able to see or have knowledge of the location.
  • Usage of the voice applications requires the person to be able to natively speak.
  • Using the powers at longer distances, and with higher intensities require more power and aptitude in the aforementioned abilities.
  • Does not hide from force sensory powers. Only makes it harder.
DESCRIPTION
Many generations of individuals have spoken of hearing voices in their head. Or hearing voices of those who seem to be near you, but aren't actually there. While those applications of the force have been used by ghosts, spirits and extremely powerful force users, this mask aims to make it easier to perform such tasks, while also appealing to those of the stealth persuasion. Providing a natural benefit of scattering their force presence, and making it all the more difficult to determine if they are good, or bad. Forged out of songsteel to be somewhat sturdy in its construction, it however has a lack of protective capabilities. As being attached to the face and jaw could likely prevent removal of the jaw, at the expenditure of the item being destroyed.

With a majority of force powers that seem to be about being as loud as possible, Vora thought of the ironic name given to the line of masks from House of Trinkets.

Inner Voice.
