Massive Thread in the Works

So a few times recently, I have made attempts to start plots, and not been able to get the ball rolling well enough. But as always I enjoy the idea of trying to continue with this plan (I love massive threads). Hence, here we are again.

What is the plot many of you will say?

No fething clue. I figure, attempting to get to in depth recently has been my biggest issue. So I have it narrowed it down to four ideas: Bar thread, with contest's to win prizes; massive free for all brawl, with prizes (so unique right?); and just a random make it up as it goes along thread. Oh and training.

You could always do a massive quest for some ancient artifact or holocron. Generally that's easier to write about, and it's easy for everyone else involved to get an idea of what to do.

If someone takes one of these, and you or an interested party were to find out, then I indirectly gave said interested party a secondary quest to steal such artifacts. Thus I will have compelled two different, or even more, threads/quests. Maybe I'll set up one myself just to mess with you.

You can't run out of artifacts in the galaxy, you can only rearrange the places and obstacles. Just because say, [member="Jared Ovmar"] has obtained 'holocron of Force Powah X+7" doesn't mean that you can't go after it. It just means than rather than working through sithspawn and tomb guardians you're working through Sith Lords and automated defenses and perhaps more Sithspawn.

It is a pretty rare artifact, which means it has a security clearance Omega. Better known as a beskar-plated space station which is located within a black hole and is populated by an army of zombified bull rancors and eh... zombie droids, or something.

You either are talking about one people make up, or a quest that by the end was all for nothing.

Both I'd love to do. (Especially if the holocron was a recipe for good soup locked away deep in a sith tomb)

Ultimately doesn't matter what's on the holocron, just that it doesn't exist.

Maybe it's like, a holocron featuring ancient sith magic reportedly able to make a star go supernova. SO LONG AS IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY EXIST, NOT A PROBLEM.

When I was in Italy, there were a ton of those, just about as obvious. They'd scram faster than the Roadrunner whenever cops would come through; it was pretty hilarious. Did get it a ballin' painting of a pair of horses out of it, though.

Either way...I'm curious to see where this ends up going

Someone should start a quest for an ancient Sith holocron, one which has canon precedence, and end it with a fake.

Well for a while I was figuring I would do something like the mentioned search, save for my original character Zaiden's work. Like find a holocron that is rumored to have told all about Umbrakinesis or something, but have it turn out to be just like warnings against how to counter it etc.

So I think I am going to do something like that, may take a minute to get it started (as in a few days) due to rare access to time for it. But I will get it started!

[member="Krest"] actually knows Daemos' so it would even make sense that he may call on him for aid. Anyone else feel like hunting for a player-artifact?
