Master and Apprentice.

Steady mind, steady body, focus. Focus was everything, and the force required such focus, Meta's difficulty to even comprehend his abilities was hidden behind his mask from any normal watcher, but not from his Master. The likely hood was that the Master had sensed his frustration and was simply down playing it.

Jedi Master. Grand Admiral. Jedi Council Member. Possibly one of the most charismatic, yet compassionate Jedi in the Order... And also one of the deadliest in a fight. Jedi Master Joshua Philip DragonsFlame, the son of Philip and Serena DragonsFlame, both former Jedi Masters in their own right, the older brother of sibling Nicholas DragonsFlame, Sith Knight, crossed his arms as he studied the emotions of his new Padawan through the Force.

"I never got your name, did I?" the Jedi Master asked his new Padawan. It was odd, Josh usually didn't take Padawans without knowing their names first... This one had a slightly different pull, like he needed help... And that was what Josh had been pulled in by.

Meta clenched his hand and stopped his exercise. "Name?" He asked, whilst the real question was to himself, do I have a name? Did I ever have an actual name? Was I ever somebody or was I always "Meta." He said, inwardly and aloud. "That's the name I was given." He let his arm rest, he felt embarrassed for struggling to lift the Glaive he had laid out on the table. His Master stood before him dawned in his Jedi garments, whilst Meta stood in his usual battle gear. He pondered for a moment if coming to this Jedi for help had been wise. If he would achieve some sense of control here.

He nodded slowly. "I'll just call you Meta until we can find something else to call you by" he decided.

"So what exactly do you want to do in the Jedi?" he asked. Straight to the point, was DragonsFlame. He hadn't received any reports of him being brought here... He seemed to have come of his own free will, dressed in battle gear. But for what?

"Its less of want and more of undeniable need." He said, raising his arm and reaching out with the force to his Glaive. Again attempting to lift it. "I need to learn how to control my anger and how to contro my force power. Also, because I am alone in this Galaxy. I wish to be apart of something bigger than myself." He said, focussing intensely. His mind struggled to remain calm as the Glaive began to rattle. He kept his new found delight under wraps, he took a deep breath and opened his palm, the Glaive rattled yet again and flew from the table into his hand. Meta clenched his fist around the Glaive,
welcoming its presence.

He watched his antics with the Glaive with interest, before nodding.

"I see" he said. "Just remember this... Anger leads to the dark side. The dark side leads to corruption. Corruption eventually leads to death" he stated. "It was a wise move coming here. You'll be welcomed" he said with a slight smirk.

"Sit down, cross your legs and close your eyes" the Jedi Master commanded calmly.

Meta sat down, hesitantly folding his legs. He held the Glaive in both hands, both fists clenched around the weapon. Even after its many years of service, it still looked new. Even if it reached with the stench if death. Meta sat silently with his eyes open. "Why would I close my eyes? Why would I blind myself?" He asked abruptly.

He chuckled at the question.

"See not with your eyes, but through the Force, my Padawan" he said calmly. "Close your eyes, and relax. Immerse yourself in the Force... Reach out into the Force. Feel the room around you, the objects, the lives of your fellow Jedi... Reach your consciousness forward and listen to the sounds of the fountain in the gardens.... And relax. Let your worries plague you not"

Meta did not reply, but closed his eyes. Following his masters instruction, he dulled his physical senses and reached out with the force, well at least he thought he was reaching out. Although only pain and anger of the past could he find, struggling to remain calm. He began to breath heavily as the images of his augmentations flashed through his mind. He had to fight it, he used his Masters words, he tried to reach out to tranquility and the beauty of the lake and fountain. His muscles tensed, he was loosing control over his emotions. But the force he was in control of. He could see, but not in your everyday spectators view. The area around him was shadowed in darkness. For some reason he could not understand himself, the force was there but seemed lost to him. The only other time he had felt it was during his augmentations, when he felt the others crying out, just as they heard him. The feeling was immense, the pain and suffering was too much and suddenly it had became silent. As if he had hidden himself from the force. That's all he could think of, the pain and silence of that fatal day;

This twisted his view of the force, it seemed as if it was screaming out to him. He couldn't take it anymore, he shut it out. Using his masters words again, he began to calm himself and detach the present from the past. A sigh of relief came from Meta as his muscles relaxed and he became calm. Feeling the fountain, the every drip of the water. It was sensational.

Josh's expression changed to one of concern as he sensed the suffering inside of his new Padawan, but eventually that was changed to a look of relief and pride as he finally relaxed, following his instructions.

"Good..." he said. "Relax yourself, see only the Force, see only the dripping of the water in the fountain, hear the sounds as it crashes bit by bit, hear the chirping of the birds as they fly around it, some using it as a makeshift birdbath. Feel the absolute joy as they splash around"

Meta's mind became focused and the words of his master blurred and his focus became entirely on the tranquility and beauty of life. "Master, if I am to focus on the life and beauty, am I not just seeing half the picture? Half of the force?" He asked, remaining calm throughout.

"That comes in time" he explained. "For now, just relax. See whats around you. I can sense pain and suffering in you... But eventually, if you relax yourself, let it float away... It'll pass. It'll take time, but many of us have a lot of stresses, a lot of pain and suffering... Even I do" he admitted. "But with time... If you immerse yourself in the Force, focus yourself on the light side of it... you will find your peace. It's only a matter of time"

"There are many sides of the Force" he explained. "But for now, keep your focus on those... In time, you will come to learn and understand all measures of the Force"

"How do you feel, Padawan?" he asked.

@Meta

"Strange. I have lived for over 300 years and in that time I have never truly experienced anything like this." He admitted, still focussing. "I will try to let go if my pain, but it engulfed the better part of 30 years of my life." He said, in a somewhat mournful tone.
The force surrounded him, and he could feel the dark and light of it. "The force is strange too."

After returning from a journey to Tatooine, Meta returned to create something very significant regarding the Jedi and with. Lightsabers, he had always seen them as glamour but due to recent events. He saw there use in more ways than one. He had been giving all the parts and the cyan crystal he requested. He let the force flow through him, and slowly connected each piece of the puzzle together. Then, it was done. He had created his Jedi weapon. He held it in his hand, he ignited the blade and the cyan glow filled the room. He stood up, Meta was a master of sword combat, it would be applicable for the saver and would make learning the saner forms much easier than for usual padawans. He wished to study Dun Moch on the side also.
