Knight Hion encounters Sith Lord Velok attempting to heist the Jedi Archives. Hion duels against Sith Lords Valik and Velok, but succumbs to Velok's use of Force Drain and is incapacitated.

Jedi Knight Hion is attacked at the Temple by a padawan carrying the Soulsaber. He slays the padawan and obtains the Soulsaber in the process. The Dark Side artifact quickly corrupts him. Jedi arrive to arrest the self-anointed Darth Orcus, who flees. In the process of his escape Orcus engages Jedi Masters Joshua Dragonsflame and Carn Dista, Knights Daella Apparine, Diana Moridena, Sochi Ru, Cale Gunderson, and Tracyn Ordo.

In the midst of the battle, a chemical agent is deployed by Sith Forces targetting all Force Users in the area. The agent enhanced Orcus' power in the Force for a short time allowing him to unleash a Force Bellow of unprecedented magnitude, wiping out the Fel troops and demolishing the city square. Ronin Fel is critically wounded in the engagement and withdraws from the battlefield.
