Master Nomination - Kira Vaal

[member="Kira Vaal"] has been a contributing member here for a good while. Kira has participated in most of our faction threads, and Aram has been writing that character for a year and a half. Aram has quietly dodged Kira's Master nomination for a while, to the extent of not keeping a thread tracker, but that ends now, lol. I may not have a thread tracker to reference, but I've seen good writing, responsible growth, and long-term effort. I vote yes.

What do you think it means, for you as a writer and for Kira as a character, to be promoted to Master?

From a OOC/Writer perspective it would be something amazing to see Kira elevated upwards towards being a master. On original concept Kira was to move through the ranks naturally and no real concentration would be put into aiming for the next rank. I've concentrated more on her personal story of acquiring the Falcon, leaving behind her shady past and want to not be involved before becoming a General within the Underground and active protagonist in many dominions started by the Sith and First Order.

However a change to Master will also come at a perfect time with the time jump of the event, by advancing her story forward I can start creating the tale of Kira as a true hero in the galaxy. Basically embracing her destiny and start taking on younger Jedi to teach them in a slowly more and more peaceful galaxy as the One Sith falls, yet remaining an Underground presence as other evils arise. As the nightside starts to balance out against the dark she can start forming more mundane activities outside of her Rebellions, establishing places of teaching for the Jedi, refuges for those in need and as ever a solid presence amongst the rising evils of the First Order and a watchful eye on the Mandalorian threat.
