Master Nomination Vote: Daxton Bane

Only Masters are to vote.

Consideration for Master is situational. As per discussion with Tefga, with maximum faction contribution and effort, 2-3 months would be an absolute minimum time to go from Apprentice to Master. The average period of time will likely be somewhat longer, based on your votes and on the votes of the RPJ's.

Pending this vote, a second vote of RPJs will take place. Any Masters who are RPJs are requested to abstain from the first vote.

I know I'm not a master, but I'd like to say this really shouldn't be done publically. There should be no pressure to vote one way or another, and I don't think people should have to publicize their votes.

If a majority of the faction wants these votes secret, that is the way it'll be. Unless and until that happens, nominations are held in public forums.

Can I ask your reasons for the nomination? We should discuss that at least before we vote.
You are free to voice your opinions and discuss as long as you wish until the end of the voting session. The lack of a previous discussion is mostly because most masters will only vote yes if they're absolutely confident in the nominee beforehand.

The transparency naturally demands that masters are polite and sincere in their votes. Even in a private forum, degrading comments would not be tolerated. Being polite is easy to do as this is what most masters at the Sith Empire are used to. Writers that cannot deal with a "Nay" vote against their character or ones they like are most likely not ready for the rank of Master. Publicly having the vote also allows both the nominee and other Knights and Apprentices to know what the Masters of the Sith Empire expect.

Okay, so Daxton has DEFINATELY been here a long time, and as far as I know of he is the first ever Knight to begin the ascension to Master Level. In my case, I hardly consider myself a Master (from a writers perspective) as I was given the title of Master rather than work for it, so whatever I do vote for, I'd like you to consider my vote to be less than that of the others if you would.

On terms of role playing period, I'd definately give that a yes. Additionally, it is VERY evident that this guy is very dedicated to the character (I don't think I've ever seen him play anything else really) and is very active in many threads. There is definately growth in his writing, and a never ending willingness to contribute.

I would like to hear first what the real Masters have to say though before my vote is cast. But thus far I don't see any grounds against his becoming a Master.

@[member="Darth Voracitos"], you have the rank, as acknowledged by the site admins and the factions leaders, and your vote will be counted like any other.
