I will not be voting but I do want to raise a concern:

This character was just Knighted last month. September 10th to be exact. While duration of Knight rank is not the only factor that goes into deciding whether or not someone is deserving of promotion, it is something that the RPJ's do take into consideration when a Master vote goes to Staff.

While OOC timeline may play a part, IC activity and presence, I believe, hold greater weight. [member="Darth Mythos"] has been involved in the OS from day one, participating actively in nearly every thread, seeking out new things to do, and proactively contributing to the faction. He has put an enormous amount of effort into developing and exploring his character, and it should matter little over what OOC period of time this effort has been spread out.

Effort is still effort, whether it happens in a month or in half a year; if anything, it's merely reflective of his dedication to the character.

With that in mind, I vote yes.

In reference to that comment about activity, I want to re-iterate that I am voting yes. Why? Well I just went through and tried to figure out how many threads that [member="Darth Mythos"] has been a part of since he was promoted to knight. I sort of lost count but I was topping out at over 15 faction threads (doms/skirmish/faction title), and 10 private threads. As far as I can remember, since his joining, there hasn't been a dominion that he hasn't be involved in.

Perhaps it's a case of a need to calibrate with the RPJ's. If that's the case, so be it. But I personally feel that the amount of commitment and activity warrants this response.

Is it a fast progression towards Master? Sure, but dedication and commitment warrant consideration, even when out of the norm.

I approached Darth Mythos about making him a Master due to his overwhelming activity.

He is a Knight who deserves this promotion. If his former Master wants to write an IC story where she makes him a Master, she still may do so. This vote does not restrict story at all.

I think he has put in the work, but only some time ago I voted no on a character who deserved the Sith Lord-tags, but was only Knighted a short time ago. Granted, this is not exactly the same situation, considering the sheer amount of work he has put in.

Spiritually I am saying yes, but practically I am abstaining. (Ain't like he needs anymore yes's anyway )

Being [member="Darth Mythos"]' master (still am up and until he gets his tags) I can't say I'm not a bit miffed about not being consulted in this matter. Then again, I have been quite absent these last few weeks due to exams.

As it were, I would say no, not feeling him ready. However, seeing the tremendous support he receives I cannot help but agree that he has clambered his way up. It's a Yes on my part.
