Joza’s character progression hasn’t been linear, which is why I think she’s been one of my favorite characters to play on any board. She started off as an anxious, volatile kid who didn’t know what she wanted and quickly realized that leaving home was more difficult than she’d imagined. She was able to gradually gain more self-confidence both as a Jedi and a woman (the latter causing much trouble in the near future) and grow into her role as protector. Then she took a dip in development after being knighted, having given in to her more Zeltron-type urges. Joza regressed for a while, continuing her studies of the Force but slowly crumbling under the weight of her bad decisions.

The Sanctum invasion of Ruusan was her low point, where she encountered her long-term lover and Sith Knight (now Lord) Haytham Kaze. She fell to the dark side briefly and intended to kill anyone who got in the way of her fight with Haytham (or anyone who tried to harm him) and almost gutted Solan Charr when he intervened. Falling even further down the rabbit hole of emotional torment, she ended up enslaved to a Hutt. After she escaped, I felt as if it was finally time to pull her out of the dredges of her own emotional sewage and build her back up. (I seriously considered killing her off at this point, but that’s another story entirely.)

Joza is in a much better place right now. While she still has some issues regarding her past and poor decisions, she has matured to the point where she realizes how her actions can affect those around her, and that it’s her duty to keep herself in check. She’s either made amends or is in the process of doing so with those she hurt (sans Haytham, because Sith and complications). Whereas she used to be petulant and aggressive, Joza is now more pragmatic and balanced, while retaining a natural warmth that I hope I’ve projected well. No longer an aimless child, she’s more goal oriented and uses her resources to both free slaves and help them integrate back into society.

In short, I do think that Joza would be ready to handle Master rank. As a person, she’s far more solid and resilient than before, so there’s not much of a chance of her slipping back into the dark side completely. If she does get Master, this by no means will signal the end of her journey or her development. I feel like a bit more responsibility on her shoulders would do her good and make for an interesting experience rp-wise. Of course, if the vote decides that she's not ready, I have no issues with that. She'll keep on showing up in doms to free the slaves!

That being said Joza has done a lot and grown, she is a little rough at times but overall when she posts it is a very enjoyable time. When she posts and doesn't forget your for two months.
