A bit of both, because I do have an "intro rp" idea that would involve the two meeting again after all his training and so forth.

well since your bio does mention that his Sith master was aging, Credius is now already 98y old and in stasis, but he could have mentored Darth Genace... though if you'd decide that Credius is a good fit, we'd need to come to a reason why Credius didn't just drain Genace instantly of his force powers
