materials question

if lets say i do a Ultrachrome challenge and get it. how mutch of said material do i get? can i use it on 1 item say a ship or weapon? is it limited to say a unique or semi unique weapon?

[member="Lyth Meran"], 1 technology unique or semi-unique. If it needs a lot of metal like a ship, then I recommend to do a longer thread to get more material. If you want to make an item you can sell for a profit, Its limited at best, and you need a couple of devlopment threads to prove you are able to sell it.

It all varies. Sometimes a single 10 post thread works toward a decent number of whatever the subber wishes. Other times one needs a 50+ thread. I have seen people make droids out of Phrik. Its easy. Weapons are easier.

@Lyth Meranok first you need to know ultrachrome is a terrible material for a big ship. Fighters sure you have lasers and blasters hitting it but for a capital ship ultrachrome is a death sentence because it will melt under the massive amounts of heat turbolasers throw at it. please think about that before you use ultrachrome on starships

no i was asking rhetorically. i have learning difficulties reading some of the rules don't make sense some times so i had to ask.
i am doing a Stygium thread so it id for a stealth vehicle.
