• The only daughter of Bohemond and Victoria Leyweald, the nobles ruling over Artois, Mathilde is the heir to a rather quaint little Dukedom, easily forgotten by the nobility of Ukatis.
  
  Even among the Ukatian aristocracy, the House of Leyweald is somewhat... insular. They are, in the eyes of some, merely a step above the commoners: founded by Bohemond, a devoted knight of Ukatis, the family of three rules over forests and rivers, with but few farmsteads and villages within their borders. Although raised as a noble lady of Ukatis, and certainly capable of rubbing shoulders with the rest of the aristocracy, there is no denying the fact that Mathilde is different from what one might expect a sheltered daughter of nobility to be.
  
  From a young age, Mathilde understood that she felt things others did not - not even her childhood friend Corazona von Ascania . The leaves whispered secrets to her, the rivers carried her thoughts, and the branches reached out to shield her from the sun. Rabbits all but ran into her hands, and elks seemed to bow their antlers before her passing.
  
  A thoughtful young lady unaware of the truth behind her heritage, Mathilde has always enjoyed a sheltered existence - from the evils of the galaxy as well as those of Ukatian nobility. Rather than being pressured into marriage and groomed for such a role, her parents have always sought to foster virtue and creativity in their daughter.
  
  But with war brought to her home by the Mandalorian Enclave, Mathilde finds it more and more difficult to ignore the world that awaits her beyond the rivers and forests of her home...
