Built at Masir Trach Imperial Shipworks over Qeravert IV, the Matsushima was named in honor of a fallen Atrisian pilot who perished during the Fall of Dosuun. Project Matsushima was conducted between Primo Victorian Shipwright and the First Order Corps of Imperial Engineers. The design was drafted in Victoria, and ultimately approved by the First Order’s Central Command before being brought over to the Masir Trach Imperial Shipworks.
A limited-production run, the Matsushima relies heavily on its fighter compliment to get it in and out of confrontational situations. Rated with average speed and maneuverability the Matsushima isn’t the typical low-speed carrier, and with high defense, it can stay in the objective for as long as necessary. The Matsushima has eighteen combat squadrons to her name and four support squadrons allowing her to be versatile in the type of combat squadrons she brings.
Overall the Matsushima is a test of new First Order shipbuilding in tandem with Primo Victorian which looks once more set down roots in the Unknown Regions.
