He seems average enough. Crooked teeth with steady hands. He seems young and it would be hard to believe the amount of death and war he'd seen if not for the dark circles that habitually rim his eyes. Maybe he's kidding himself about being disgusted by war. Maybe the bloodier the mess and the harder the healing makes him at his best. Or maybe he's just about ready to snap.

Biography:
Matt grew up on a colony ship that berthed with the Vagrant Fleet. His mother acted as chief healer, medic, herbalist, and he followed in her footsteps. He knew most fungi and plants that could kill or heal a person by the age of 12. By 18, he was shipped off to a mid-level medical school in the Outer Rim. It was what his folks and himself, could afford.

Balmorra, Ruusan, Matt had been at many of the battles as a first year and second year med student. Well, the aftermath. Never a shortage of war meant never a shortage of practice for med students. Sith? Jedi? They all ended up the same. Mauled with missing limbs.

After four years as a battle medic, Matt was already disillusioned, having never picked a side. He wasn't idealistic or blood thirsty. He had a PhD. But he needed some experience. Lucky for him, herbalists and medics were in high demand. He planned to start small. Maybe get hired on a local crew and give the massive battlefields a break for awhile.
