At a young age, Matt was taught to use the various vehicles and other repulsorlift-based machinery on his family’s ranch. In his teens, he raced speeders to escape boredom. As an adult, he's adept at almost any land vehicle.

From his youth, Matt showed a knack with droids. Even at a young age, adults in his village would ask him to repair their droids. Naturally, he’s also fluent in Binary.

Biography:
Matt was born to a family of nerf herders on Dosuun. Despite living on the First Order’s capital planet, he drew up in a rather impoverished rural village. At age 20, he worked in an Outer Rim spice freighter repairing droids. After a few years, disgruntled with his career’s “occupational hazards,” Matt enlisted in the First Order Navy, seeking to earn some honest credits and put his skill in electronics to good use… all while trying to bring some order to the galaxy.
