The first and most critical component was establishing a neural cybernetic that allowed Mauer to interact and subsequently harness external computers and droids. This has granted him extraordinary calculative and analytical abilities that he exploited to gain power on the planet of Linuri, as well as explosively increasing the amount of information that he possesses and allowing him to specialize in numerous fields ranging from weapon manufacturing, medicine to droid technology. His baseline intelligence already made him a genius in the galaxy, and his insanity drove him to the utmost limits.

Born as a sociopath, Mauer has little interest or thought about morality and ethics, but he chooses to abide by them to further his desires for greater power. And so, he has learned to be a charismatic and moving figure, being able to sway the popular masses into his intricate plots and intrigue.
