Biography: Mayfly was born prematurely, and through her infancy was an extremely sickly child. Through her infancy it wasn’t known if she would properly survive. Though she did become healthier over time, her childhood was riddled with illness, injuries, and overall poor health, a lot of which could be blamed on the poor gene pool of her reduced species. However, despite her poor health, Mayfly excelled in her academic fields, notably those of robotics and engineering.
She was quick to understand her lessons, and quicker to discard them in favor of things that better held her attention, it seemed the only kind of academics that would keep her sitting still were those that were complex enough to entertain her, or as fast as her own thoughts. When not buried in books, she was always quick to put her lessons into practice, testing her knowledge of machines by making and adjusting devices and simple droids.
Growing up into a young adult, Mayfly still suffered frequent illness, but with a studious fitness routine and a firm diet, she clearly has taken preventive strides to keep herself in decent health. As she reached independence, she applied for a CIS scholarship for advanced robotics, and chose to coast along as an apprentice to anyone willing to take her.
