Fable Merrill
As directed by Michael Bay.
Fable sat at the portable terminal in her room aboard the Bloody Pilgrim, pondering. Aside from training and her hobbies, she didn't have much to do - one could only watch so many action movies before she began to wonder if the rest of the Galaxy was as awesome as all the people actively participating in it seemed to think. While she COULD go out and experience it firsthand, screw that noise. There was so much cool stuff on the Holonet to check out, and other people were kind of scary. What was a girl to do when she wanted to meet people, but didn't really want to meet people? Mostly trawling Holonet communities, which is where she got the idea to start a little project. It could be fun.
A few hours research and some typing, re-typing, spellchecking and starting from scratch, Fable put an ad up on Flraigslist, under 'Community', hoping to get some interested players for an online gaming group. Chances are, the Galaxy was full of people as bored as she was, right?
Mazes & Marmaw - Players wanted! (Holonet Only)
Hello! Have you ever wanted to be transported to a time and place of kings, magic and fantasy? Are you passionate
about rolling dice and roleplaying? I'm looking for 3-4 players to establish a video conference game using
Mazes & Marmaw 4.B rules, playing once a week. If you're interested, send me a message w/ your character concept
and a little about yourself and hopefully we can get started soon!
We'll be starting at level one and using an external randomizer for dice rolls. Core classes and races only please!
[If the poster didn't include a vidseed, holomail, or ]
[other contact info, Flraigslist can notify them via holomail]
Short, sweet, and to the point. Fable sat back in her chair once the ad was posted, waiting for the sure-to-be torrent of people eager to play as Selphi Magicians, Tinyfolk Thieves, or maybe even a Human Priest! Hopefully there'd be a Berserker or Warrior to soak up some damage, too. Time would tell.
((Note: This is just a fun idea I had, to have people play minimalistic almost-D&D in character. The rules are pretty loose - we'll be using simple d20 rolls for most things, with a bonus if it's something your class would reasonably specialize in. The focus is going to be on roleplaying, of course. Rather than PMing me a request to join the game, please send a PM as though you were replying to the add above. Thanks!))
